The kids

The kids were goofy on Sunday. I went and did my last MOPS meeting for the evening group and the kids stayed home with Scott. He played with my new camera.

Miller is such a little sweetheart....he just loves to be outside all of the time. I'm trying to figure out new schedules as he is going away from his naps and staying up...which means no time for momma......any ideas????????

Madison is just growing. 5th grade is so much more different than 6th grade. And now we have 7th grade to look forward too. Dont grow up to fast baby...you have so much more to exp.

They look as if they really love each other here. They do. They just love to fight too.

Great pictures. Especially the last one, so precious. I like the flower arrangement on the step. That makes me want one similar. I just might have to go by to Wurth's farm!

Beautiful pictures. You should give Scott the camera more often! Love your comment on the last one. "They love each other and love to fight." Isn't that the truth?

What beautiful pictures of your kiddos - I love how fresh and springy it looks. Gotta treasure those moments when they're lovin' on each other, don't ya?

My word, they've really grown, Jen. They're both adorable. I'll bet people tell you all the time that your daughter is the spitting image of you.

Someone suggested when kids have outgrown naps, "quiet time" is a good way to make them stop and slow down AND give Mom a little break. You might pick one spot (his room?) and tell him he can read or color or play quietly, but he has to stay there for, say, one hour.

And for my next trick, I'm going to figure out how to make that work with Cameron. LOL

Layton has stopped taking a nap everyday-but I still make him have a "quiet time" in his room. He can read books, play with his toys, ect... but he must stay in there for at least an hour. It took a day or two of me walking him back into his room but now he will play for two hours. I noticed that he is calmer in the afternoons and really enjoys his time alone (as do I!)
Madison has grown up so much! And you're right, 7th grade is a change...it brings on more stuff but it's all part of the process and you'll enjoy it all!
I'm trying to get caught up again.
