A great recipe

What a week we have had. We have done the pool for 4 straight days. I'm burned...and tired. Today is a down day. We are hanging out at home and taking it easy. Madison has big plans tomorrow with church and my leadership retreat begins tomorrow night. So....we need to do some laundry and clean up around here.....I'm having my cup of coffee with caramel creamer...yum.
Scott has been working late alot. The kids are missing their time with him. I havent watched my soaps all week. I have GOT to catch up.
So no plans here....I' m going to leave you all with a great recipe I made earlier in the week. They were a huge hit.....let me know if you try them.

Snicker Brownies

German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 can Eagle Brand Milk
1 1/2 sticks of butter..melted
4 Snicker Candy Bars

Mix Cake mix, melted butter and eagle brand milk together. Pour 1/2 of the mixture into a 9X13 greased pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Then remove from oven. Cut Snickers into bite size pieces. Put on top of the cake....and then cover with the rest of the brownie mix. Bake for 20 minutes more.
Scott loved these....enjoy!

Have a great Thursday everyone. We are hanging close to home. Enjoy these last summer days.

I will definitely be making these, Jen! It could get a tad bit tricky on the timing as my oven is giving me fits, but I will figure it out. Thanks!

Enjoy your day at home. I am sad as the summer is winding down. I am so not ready for it to be over.
Wow, four days in a row at the pool? I would look like a lobster and be miserable - I bet you have an awesome tan :) Glad you guys are taking a down day and resting, you have to be ready for the weekend, you know, LOL!

That brownie recipe sounds awesome. But then again, you had me at the coffee with caramel creamer :)

Hope you have a great day and weekend, Jen!
Oh boy...I think I just gained ten pounds reading the recipe *LOL*

Oh yum! Those brownies sound great! I actually have everything to make them in the morning. I'll have to get into my "secret" stash of Snickers! Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!
Jen, I have to take dessert to a pool party next Sunday and not being a chocolate person, was struggling for a recipe. These will be perfect - sure to be a hit - thanks!
