For Today...February 23rd

Outside my window...the sun is slowly rising. Temps are in the low 20's. I see the school bus coming up the road.

I am thinking...of the fund raiser for Miller's school today. Yet he is still sick. Waiting for the Dr's office to open to see what to do.

From the learning rooms... I have been going over what I'm going to plant this past week in our spring and summer garden. So this week Miller and I will discuss these fruits and veggies...and color them. Possibly paint them too. And discuss what they start with and taste like.

I am thankful for... good conversation with my husband.

From the kitchen... comfort food this week. Spring is coming and I want several things to comfort us this week such as....Chicken Boudine with fruit, Swiss Steak with baby peas and carrots, Homemade bread, Mexican Lasagna....and for something sweet...Oreo Truffles for my anniversary this week.

I am wearing...pajamas.

I am reading... Martha Stewart's Spring catalog.

I am hoping... Madison's slumber party goes smooth Friday.

I am creating... a list of things for her party....alot of little girls, pizza, movies and a chocolate fountain for entertainment

I am hearing...the dryer going. fresh clean clothes.

I'am going.....to Miller's pre school today to help set up for their fund raising Spaghetti Dinner. Maybe.

Around the house... Cleaning closets, Organizing drawers in bedrooms, cleaning bathrooms, and sweeping and vacuuming floors.

One of my favorite things... having lunch with my momma. She comes home this week....yeah!

A few plans for the rest of the week... gymnastics, 2 bible studies, a spaghetti dinner fundraiser, My 15 year wedding anniversary (dinner out with Scott), a slumber party with giggling tweens, a Sunday School bowling party, lunch with a friend, and church.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...Madison on Friday night going to the Country Club Dance. She is getting so big.

What a beautiful young lady. I enjoyed your daybook. Is Chicken Boudine a Paula Deen recipe? I tried the one by the same name that she made and it was pretty tasty.
