My week.
Sandra just started doing this a couple of weeks ago. I had already started The Simple Daybook at Peggy's...so I will do both....I mean you all cant get bored with my life now can you? lol.
On my bedside table:
The Long Winter by Laura Ingals Wilder and a box of Kleenex.
On my TV:
The Bachelor
Medium
Young and The Restless
On the menu for tonight:
Meatloaf, Potatoes and green beans....some bread and lemonade.
On my To Do List:
Going to the post office for stamps
Going to see my attorney to review our wills.
Running into the Dollar store for red wrapping paper for Valentines Day.
New Recipe I tried last week:
I made a 3 step peanut butter cookie that was easy and good.
And found a chocolate Chip peanut butter recipe we loved.
In the craft basket:
some cut out valentines
Looking forward to:
my anniversary coming up
Homemaking Tip for this week:
clean just a couple of things a day..you dont want to burn out on ones day of cleaning. You stay home to take care of kids so play with them too.
Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):
Life of Grits.... I loved this post. Her everyday suggestions, ideas and what is just going on in her home. Bev gives me perspective on life and she doesn't even know it. Thanks Bev!
Favorite photo from last week:
A picture of my front yard after Winter Storm 2009
Lesson learned the past few days:
Not to take the elderly for granted. Even if they correct you constantly. They are our pasts and they are normally right.
On my Prayer List:
My Family and Friends.
Myself for courage.
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
In Him all things hold together.
Colossians 1:17

Oh I got sucked back into the Bachelor again! My dvr can't record it b/c I have too many other things on Monday nights to record but it's easy to watch online or another tv.
Glad you're joining in with this, I love reading about your day.
