For Today...February 16th..Presidents Day

Outside my window... Sunny skies....and cold. Not real cold..but not warm.

I am thinking... Scott is getting so tired. He has worked everyday since 1/26 except for one day. His next day off is 2/22. He is just so worn out. (Ice Storm)

From the learning rooms... singing songs. And cutting and gluing paper together. Miller likes to use his pre school scissors.

I am thankful for... friends who love me.

From the kitchen... Steaks on the grill, Chicken Divan, Sausage Potato Soup with homemade bread, Shortbread Jam Cookies, Crock Pot Lasagna

I am wearing...pajamas.

I am reading... Southern Living spring catalog.

I am hoping... for smiling faces this week.

I am creating... a door prize for a silent auction at Miller's pre school.

I am hearing...Spongebob on television.

Around the house... cleaning out sock drawers this week, dusting blinds, bathrooms, stripping sheets, dusting, vacuuming, re organizing cabinets in the kitchen.

One of my favorite things... shopping with Madison.

A few plans for the rest of the week... gymnastics, 2 bible studies, nail appointment, MOPS meeting (we are going to learn tips on cake decorating), coffee with a friend, lunch with a friend, a formal dance for Madison to go to...and church.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...Miller's first day at pre school last week. I will do a post on it this week. So stay tuned.

What's this? Southern Living has a catalog? How is it that I didn't know this? :-)

Your poor husband. But I'll bet you guys are loving the overtime! Still, that's an awful long time to go without a day off.

The preschool photo is adorable. My word, he's getting big.

I feel for your husband (and your family) as that is very stressful to work that hard and long. I pray he can get the rest he needs to stay healthy and productive.

Hope you have a good week!

Aww, preschool. Wooden puzzles, learning shapes, crayons. I miss those days.

Your menus always sound so yummy. I'm sure Scott appreciates it, especially the way he's been working so hard.

Hi Jen! Thanks for stopping by. You sound like you have a busy and rewarding week ahead.

And no ... the Butler doesn't have time to bake anymore. Rats! Those were my Valentine cookies. He is pretty good at eating them though :)

I am sorry your husband is so overworked. I hope his paycheck reflects it.

Don't you just love MOPS? I am ... of course ... a mentor. My boys are way grown up, but I love getting together with those precious mamas and their sweet babes.

Have a GREAT week!!
