Grab a coffee..let's talk
Wouldnt it be nice to be on this tiny little boat..kicked back with some kind of favorite drink...(mine would be something fruity with Rum) and not a care in the world? That would be nice. Look at the color of the water...perfect blue if you asked me.
It's Wednesday. Hump Day as i referred to it when I worked. It's a really windy day here and it rained all night. We have had the weirdest weather in the last month. the temps are in the 60's today and will be in the 20's tonight...which means my sweet little family will be sick. Miller's respiratory will worsen and Madison will get all congested. I'm boiling water today to keep the house moist for Miller. He isnt sick...I'm just getting prepared.
Today I need to finish cleaning floors and vacuuming. Clean out my closet and sort sock drawers. Do some laundry. And prepare cupcakes for tomorrow's MOPS meeting..cake decorating. I'm also needing to prep dinner for tonight.
Miller and I are going to cut construction paper and glue them on other papers. He loves to cut. We may also paint today.
My bible study is tonight. Mom to Mom. I enjoy this study because it is so laid back. No homework and its everyday stuff.
So are there any gardeners out there? I'm getting my list together for our garden this spring. What I want to plant. If you have a garden let me know what your doing this year. I plan on green beans, squash, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, a small herb garden on the deck, blackberries and strawberries, lettuce and some zucchini. I guess that will be about it. Maybe cucumbers again..I had good luck with those.
We may work on beds Sunday when Scott is off work. Prepping. I also want a pear tree. One that produces pears so we can eat them or I can make Pear Honey in the fall off of it. So alot of spring talk here.
I hope you all have a great hump day....see you tomorrow.

I havent planted any blackberrys but my Mama has. Hers have done well. I think they come back every year.
I hope yall dont get sick. Package's mama called me before 6 this morning to tell me her stomach is running off.
That picture makes me look forward to vacation.
We usually put out about the same things in our garden as you mentioned except for bell peppers and onions. I am the only one that eats onions and don't care for bell peppers. I wish I did though because they always look so good.
I would love a nice apple tree. We have a pecan tree planted the fall before last but it won't produce for a few years. We almost lost it right after it was planted when we got that late frost in April.
Your MOPS group sounds awesome. I love laid back stuff. I was going to join this group at my church until my daughter said "mom my friend Mel goes to this study and she said there is lots of homework." As you can tell my daughter knows me, so I chose a group that was little more laid back too, no homework.
I haven't had a garden in a long time and I don't have the greenest thumb but you have inspired me to make a go of it again. Thanks.
Since we live at a self storage property I'm unable to have a garden.
I do have some plants that I maintain so I'll be purchasing some potting soil and repotting this month.
Have fun at MOPS tomorrow. I just put together a sweet gift for a new mama with a toddler. The new baby gets a knitted blanket and the toddler gets some books and a summer hat I made. I hope it fits.
Hope your hump day was good and you have a great Thursday :)
