Slow Cooker Thursday

With fall just around the corner and so many wonderful recipes being shared, constantly, amongst the blogging ladies....Sandra @ A Diary of a Stay at Home mom thought that it would be neat to have a feature every Thursday, just for crockpot recipes.

What do you think??? You have some great recipes to share, or perhaps you're looking for some delicious ones to give you a reason to pull out the ol' crockpot???
Well it's Thursday ladies and you know what that means. Time to pull out those crockpots and put them to good use.

Italian Beef

1 Rump Roast
1 package of Au Jus
1 jar of Peperocini Peppers with juice
1 package of Italian seasoning mix
1 package of Hoagie Buns

Add Rump Roast to Crockpot.....add other ingredients...no water.
Cook on low all day..6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours....take out and shred
roast and add back to pot....put on Hoagie buns and serve....
Yummy.

For more crock pot recipes go see Sandra...and enjoy.

Yesterday was great. We had to close our pool down...frown frown frown...Summer is officially over. It's getting so cold here at night we knew we would never get it in it anymore.

Alot of you out there have been making some major decisions about blogging. SO I thought I would tell you what I had decided. It is so addictive. So here is my plan. I will post first thing in the morning when I get up. Then when Madison is off I will read and comment to all my morning coffee breaks. Then that's it....no more for the rest of the day. Or night. And no more weekends...I will have to take those off for family...Scott gets a little jealous of the computer at night and well, Madison needs my attention in her life right now...I know you all understand this....like Barb says.....I have to get my life back in order. The house needs a good cleaning....laundry needs to get done and YES I need to get a schedule.
Maybe this will work maybe it wont but I have to try it out. Wish me luck.

My day with Scott was good. Thanks for all my comments and thanks for my comments on my blog.....I give all the credit to Susie @ Bluebird Blogs.

I hope you all have a great Thursday.

Please all, and you will please none.........

OH my goodness that recipe looks soooooooo yummy :)

I agree with the blog changes, that's what I do, I have 30 minutes in the morning to post my blog entry and visit my friends. I don't get back on the computer the rest of the day, and I am able to get things done around the house and not neglect the family either :)

Thanks for playing along :)
Huge hugs to you,
Sandra

Glad you had a good day yesterday!

I totally understand about blogging! I usually do most of my blogging in the morning as well and then I may check on things now and then through the day, but I rarely do any blogging at night. We like for the kids to go to bed about 8:30 then it's our (me and hubby) time to hang out with each other. You have to do what's right for you and I can't imagine there is anyone out there that would fault you for that!!! Hope you have a great day!!!
Yum, that looks delicious! I have a french dip recipe that's similar, but without the peppers. I'll have to post that one soon.

Hope you have a great day, and get a little blog time in, but have plenty of time for your family and yourself. Life is about living, after all - enjoy every minute! :)

I hope your new blogging system works. It is very time consuming and your right family time is most important.

I really like this new look, especially the picture of the cup of coffee, you know that is my favorite part.

Your plan sounds good. It's funny. Normally evenings are when I can come in here and catch up. For me and Rob this works. Unless there's something on TV we both watch, he likes to watch his old black and white westerns. Since he knows they drive me nuts, he doesn't mind at all when I come in here to catch up with everyone.

OK, now I'm off to print those two recipes. The sandwiches sound great but boy that Italian beef sounds wonderful!

Have a nice weekend and we'll "see" you again on Monday.

Yummy recipe!

I'm doing something similar to what you're doing about blog time. It just gets to be too addictive if you don't set some limits!
