Girl Talk

Good Morning! What do you think? The banner? Well, until I can figure out how to put Girl Talk on it this is it for now. I like it.....grab a cup of Joe and sit. I hope you all are well today. It's Friday! TGIF!!!!!!

I'm home today. Cleaning. Got alot of running this weekend though...Saturday morning we are off for acting lessons, then shopping, then a chili supper at church that night. Sunday is church...and lounging the rest of the day...hopefully. We are supposed to get snow Saturday night...we will see. I know alot of you are getting some bad weather right now.

So my parents are traveling to Florida for some golfing. They love this. They wont be back until February.
I have alot coming up with appointments..I know I will make it though.

I'm still planning Madison's Valentine Party at school, our Valentine Banquet for church and I have our monthly MOPS meeting coming up....I'm doing the devotional...wish me luck.

I have been planning our vacations throughout the week. We have one planned for October to Florida...one in May for St Louis...possibly Chicago for a day......and one to New York at Christmas with my mom Christmas shopping and Madison....I love planning trips..this is what I should be doing all the time....

I have also been on line this week looking for a lock for our lazy susan in the kitchen...Miller wont leave it alone...constantly in it taking spices and running from me with them. So cute. Aggravating...but cute.

Madison had a great report card...and her conduct this year is awesome...everyone says she has matured so much and it is totally different from last year. I love this year.

Has anyone watched Men in Trees...or Brothers & Sisters....I love these shows and am addicted to them. I tivo them and watch them throughout the week. You ought to try them...

The weaning has been a success....I'm still full....wish it would go away....I may need to take some Sudafed to dry up faster. They hurt a little bit. Thanks for your prayers and advice...I just wish it was gone now. The fullness is aggravating. Miller has done really well. He is such a big boy...still teething though...he was up and down last night...not alot of sleep...his teeth and all.

It's my brother's birthday today...he is 31...Happy Birthday...he is in San Diego on business.....

Well, I hope you all have a great weekend.....I leave you with this...

In the end we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends....Martin Luther King Jr.

Love that ending quote.
I know how you feel about having a little one getting into everything. I have two of those lol.
We have been trying to plan a vacation these last few months, I say we and I really mean me with absolutely ZERO input from my husband lol. We are unsure of a date and place since my husband can't decide, it's either Disney or a road trip and sometime in the spring. Very vague. You guys have a lot of vacations lined up wish we could do that much. Impossible with him being in the Air Force though.
Well now that I have written you an novel I hope you have a great weekend.

Good morning! Try a cabbage leaf (uncooked) in each cup of your bra for the weaning. I used to work for a pediatrician back around 7 or 8 years ago, and a lactation nurse I wokrded with said there's something chemically in it that takes care of the fullness.

It sounds like you've got a couple of busy days ahead. I know what you mean about planning for trips. I've been working on the details for our trip to Disney in April.

Have a great weekend.
Oooh- I am trying to organize a blogging get together in Chicago sometime for spring/summer. If you could make it, that would be awesome!!

Well, with great trips like that coming up, Jen, no wonder you love to plan them. How fun to go to NY at Christmastime with your Mom and Madison. I hope you plan to take a lot of photos.

I love the girl talk button. She's cute.

I love it when you do randomy posts like this. It's like sitting down for a "catch-up" chat with you.

You have a busy weekend coming up. I'm happy to report that I, for once, do NOT! Hooray!

I love the picture!

I really wanted to call in today, to get a jump start on housework & laundry, but I feel so guilty for doing that. So here I am, at work. LOL

I'm a vacation planning chick just like you!

Have a nice weekend

Seems like you have a lot going on. Parties, traveling, girl you're just busy.

I have not watched these shows. Some friends yesterday said that they were really good girly shows. I am not much of a girly show girl. I know that is a little diff, that's just me. I did they hear they were REALLY good though.

Oh girl..I've been there on the weaning thing. Something that worked AWESOME for me...I took Parsley..in pill form. Got it at the health food store. Its cheap..and worked AMAZING. I was dried up in about 2 days...but kept taking it for probably over a week. You should try it. You'll be feeling better the first day..promise.

Thanx for visiting my blog. Come back again! =)

Jenny, make sure if you are going to the zoo while you are in St. Louis, you don't go on a Friday! We took Andrew there for his first birthday, May 7, which fell on a Friday. The amount of kids there on field trips is simply staggering!!!! It made it very hard to get around large groups, especially with strollers. Also, get a zoo pass. We had a coupon for it from some hotel, and it included a trip on the train, free admittance to the petting zoo, etc... paid for itself. Later, gater :)

Gosh you are always one busy lady. It's good you love planning parties, because you have a lot of them to plan.

Christmas shopping in NY would be cool I come from Northern Nj about 40 min. from NY and I absolutely love the Christmas season in NY.

Glad to hear Madison is doing great. She sounds like a sweet girl.

Hope you find the lock. I have locks all over and my baby is 3 1/2 and he still gets into everything. I wonder if boys ever outgrow this stage.

Hi, I found you through OW.

Anyways, I wanted to say that I watch both those new shows and LOVE THEM!!

I laughed SO hard at the B&S episode from last night - have you seen it yet? Ooooh, I thought I was going to wake the kids from napping I was laughing so hard! (I also watch them throughout the week!)

I love your site - I will be back!
