Five Ingrediant Friday

Hello and Good Morning...here is my recipe for the day...for more recipes go on over and visit Overwhelmed with Joy......
Still no sleep here....Miller was up all night this time....I will be napping most of the day.


Ice Cream Cake.....great dessert for the summer

1 package of ice cream sandwiches
1 cup of Ameretto
1 tub of Cool Whip
Chocolate Syrup

Take a 9x13 dish and lay all sandwiches in it...pour Ameretto on top of the sandwiches..add Cool Whip on top of this and drizzle Chocolate Syrup on top of this.......Put in freezer about 2 hours before serving....ENJOY......

Oh no...I'm so sorry to hear that Miller isn't feeling better...and that you are still getting no sleep!!! Hopefully those little teeth that are troubling him so much will break through soon and he'll feel better!!!

The recipe sounds yummy...we love ice cream sandwiches!!

Sorry Miller was up all night. I know how challenging those sleepless nights can be for Mommy! I hope you get a good long nap in today!

As for your recipe, I love it! My uncle owns a Dairy Queen and I've seen what goes into making their ice cream cakes (not an easy process). Your recipe sounds oh so easy, I'm going to try it!

this sounds YUMMY. my mom made something similar the other nite but i don't think she used ameretto! thanks for the recipe.

so i hope you are drugging your son before bed....i would suggest children's motrin cuz it helps with inflammation. it seems this has been going on for a while...you sure there's nothing else wrong? i sure hope it gets better soon....for his sake and yours!

Oh how incredible, this is something my family, here in Florida, will absolutely inhale! lol

Happy his BNP has dropped and I too use Motrin over other baby pain killer for teething...Doc said there was nothing better.

I have a similar recipe with hot fudge and peanuts. The amaretto sounds great!

I hope Miller is better soon, and you get some sleep.

Have you called your baby's doctor? You probably have. I would. For him to be up all night long like this is hard on both of you. I hope this gets better soon.

Recipe sounds decadent. My family will think I hung the moon if I make this for them.
