Passing the time

Good Tuesday morning. It's hot here but I think it is everywhere. I saw this picture and just loved it. Please continue to pray for my dear friends son Nate. We are praying for a miracle from God.

Today I had a vet appointment early after I dropped Madison off at school. I had Miller and Lucky what an experience. The bill was worse.....LOL!

Tonight I go shopping with my friend D for some pictures in my Family room. She has been helping me decorate some rooms. I value her opinion and respect her. She is such a great friend and person.

Tomorrow I go to lunch with my girlfriend E. Her birthday was last week. We never have one on one's..we are always in a group so it will be nice to have a quiet slow lunch.

Back to School night went well. The older your kids get the less parents show up for these things. I think its very important to stay involved in your kids schools.....and in your kids business. I hate it that parents don't stay focused on their kids.

Miller has had a cold. He is feeling much better though. He is so sweet. He is starting to learn how to blow his nose. And it's sooooo cute.

I hope you all have a blessed day...see you tomorrow.

To understand your parents' love you must raise children yourself.

oh how true that proverb is. I never knew how much understanding I would have in regard to what my parents went through to raise me. Not just the major things, but the ordinary, everyday stuff.

Very good Proverb!

As for my blog, it was time for a change. Refreshing....

Beautiful picture Jen, very peaceful. Sounds like a lot of fun, lunch and shopping; hope you enjoy every second!

Post some pictures of your new stuff, if you can :)

Jen I forget about the little things like "nose blowing". That is sooo cute. I guess I will be re-learning soon.....my middle son is expecting a little girl in November. (I'm only 36, its not fair!) I have to take my dog to the vet tomorrow, he is going blind. I hope they can help him somewhat. The picture IS really pretty. Prayer sent up for Nate this morning...do keep reminding us. I hope you have a good day today!
It's hot here too! Makes you wonder when it's ever going to cool off.
I'm still trying to catch up after being gone all last week; sounds like you're busy as well...have fun with all your shopping and getting the house fixed. Hope you'll post pics sometime.
I think that's so true about the older kids get the less parents are involved and it's sad because they probably need it even more as they get older.

How is Nate?

I agree that continuing to participate in our children's education and lives is so important! I think as kids get older so many parents check out of their kids day to day lives.

Hope Miller gets better soon and that you enjoy your lunch!!

that is a great proverb. I have apologized to my mom on several occasions when I realize what I put her through...

Blessings,

Isn't it amazing how quickly life picks up after starting back to school? I have even tried to plan a get together with friends at my new abode. Schedules are so tight.

Love the photo and your musings!
