Friday!

1. Coming home from vacation and my laundry was done! Miller was sick the last day so I stayed in the condo while he slept and washed all our laundry. It wasn't fun at the time...but it was nice after we got home!

2. Spending three days at home after we got back. Me and Miller and Madison did not leave the house for 3 days...and we were content!

3. My garden. It's producing all my wonderful bounty for the summer. Yum! However some kind of bug got my green beans so we pulled them out..but I put back enough last fall to get us through another winter! My tomatoes should be turning soon!

4. Grocery shopping by myself yesterday. I know it sounds weird....but I had no child asking me if they could go to the bathroom or if we could go to the toy section or even...can I get this....ahhh.

5. Getting back on my schedule slowly. It's nice. I love vacations so much...but schedules are my true indulgence...

For more Friday fav's...go on over to see Suzanne...
Have a great weekend!

Hi Jen! So nice to "see" you back!

I can totally relate to going grocery shopping by myself. It was so much easier and so much more relaxing without little ones asking for every other thing off the shelves. LOL.

Danny & I went on our 1st vacation in 7 years last week!! Yeh crazy huh! He will take a long weekend every now & then but just hasnt taken the whole week off! ARGH!! I think he is going to do it more now...says we are going to the mountains in August! We will see. Anyway we went back to Crooked River....we had a long weekend there last august. It is right at Cumberland Island. It was nice...just the two of us. Got to tour a beautiful Carnegie Mansion on the island. Wild horses everywhere.
Life is short! Im glad you & your family vacation every year!

I agree with you, that grocery shopping alone is so peaceful and a treat. My kids rarely come with me anymore, so I look at it as a way to get out of the house and have some alone time!

And having a schedule is a sweet indulgence, I never thought of it that way before, but you're right.
