TGIF!

It's Friday so go on over to Susanne's place and look back at your favorite things this week....you will be blessed.

1. The Nice Temps this week. We had great weather. High 70's and it was awesome...playing outside....sitting outside and just enjoying the sunshine and warmth.

2. Our Tea Party for MOPS. I'm Hospitality Leader so we decorated it Mad Hatter Style on Alice in Wonderland. Pink everywhere...it was great. I love to do parties.

3. Sonic .99 sundaes. In different flavors.....yummy! And just the right size. I heart M&M and peanut butter cup.

4. New white pajamas. I got a new set of white cotton pajamas the other day and they are so comfy. I love them. 2 pieces....top and capris....just in time for spring like temps.

5. Lunch yet again with some great girlfriends. Sarah and Emily. Thank you. Laughing with you guys is great. Lunch at our favorite Chinese Restaurant on a great sunny day...who could ask for more? You two are the best!

This week was a long one. I didnt get alot of cleaning done? Can you believe it? Madison has been home sick 3 days. She went back today. So it's been put on hold taking care of her and her needs. I have served her breakfast in bed and watched movies with her....girl stuff with a little Miller on top. lol. No really...when she is home..I take full advantage of it. I pamper. One day soon she wont be here. So for now I do what I do best...love them.
Miller is doing really well in pre school. His teachers are very impressed with him. But who really isnt? Today is grocery day and I need to get the house back into order. Scott works this weekend and we have 2 double header Vollyball games. I'm also cooking dinner for mamie Saturday night, she is wanting an Italian meal. So that is what has been going on around here. I did get a spring wreath up on my door as well....I hope you all have a great weekend and I will see you back on Monday!

Oooh, I wish we had a Sonic close by. I love their root beer and munchy ice.

We've had some great temps, too. A little cool in the mornings and evenings but warm in the afternoons.

I always love lunch with friends!

Glad your daughter is feeling better today!

I ALWAYS forget about Sonic. They just added one on my side of town, and I forget to go there - we like their afternoon "happy hour" for slushes...when I remember!

The Mad Hatter idea sounds great. Did you get pictures?

Hope you have a wonderful, relaxing weekend!

99 sundaes?? be still my heart! :)

Go ahead and pamper that little girl - I loved to be pampered when I was sick by my mom - we always had grapes and ginger ale.

and I loved to do it for my kids.

You're right they grow up too soon so make the most of every moment.

Happy weekend!

Thanks for the tip on the Sonic sundaes! New pajamas sound great -- thinking about it, I should get me some, too. LOL.

I totally agree with you about pampering your child. They are gone way too soon for our mother hearts ...

Good week even with a sick kiddo!

It's beautiful here too! I've thoroughly been soaking it up! MMM, sundaes sound good. I might have to run to Dairy Queen seeing we don't have a sonic. I definitely need new pj's.
I so loved your list, Jen! What a great week you had!

That does sound like a great week Jen. I just heard we mentors are in charge of our tea party at MOPS which is the last meeting. I suggested we each do our own table so we have every one different. We can bring our own china, table cloths, napkins, centerpieces, etc. We are also doing the food. It is a Mother's Day tea so that will be fun.

And ... I had not heard of Sonic's 99 cent sundaes but I could be all over that M and M and peanut butter thing. Thanks for the heads up and there goes MY diet!!

And last but not at all least, white cotton pajamas sound like the perfect spring indulgence to me. I love that idea. I have feel the softy comfort as I speak.

Enjoy!

I wish I could have come to your tea party. It was always such a treat when they did that for us in my Mom's Group. (It was called Time Out For Friendship, but similar to MOPs). I bet you did a fantastic job.

It's so nice for Madison that you give her the royal treatment when she's sick. You're right, the time is so fleeting. She'll love thinking back to how her mom took such good care of her and I'll bet she'll do it for her little girl someday.

We're off to baseball and soccer games today. Have a great weekend!
The weather has been glorious hasn't it! Sonic is one of my favorite places but I try not to visit too often!
