Monday Stuff

Well good Monday Morning. Thanksgiving is over. We had so much food to eat and alot of good memories going on. Miller enjoyed green beans the most. The beginning of the holiday season has arrived. People have Christmas lights up all over my neighborhood.
Miller's birthday is Thursday so we wont get started on decor until after that. I have ordered his cake and presents are wrapped and ready.

The weather here has been really cold. In the 20's. Our local high school football team won Friday night and we are really excited and proud of them.

Back to school today. Madison has Vollyball practice twice this week and gymnastics. Not too bad of a week. I'm going to run around with mom one day this week looking for some garland for the front door. And maybe some other things for the holidays. I have been looking through Holiday magazines.

My birthday is coming up the first week of December. I need some suggestions on what to do. We can go to Nashville for the day shopping, or to nice a resteraunt around here....I just don't know what to do. Any ideas out there?

I'm going to do my meal planning....for more meal plans go see Laura....

Monday...Sausage Pasta Soup with homemade bread....

Tuesday....leftover soup and bread

Wednesday...church dinner

Thursday.....Meatloaf, mashed Potatoes, green beans.....Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake....Miller's Big day...so I made his favorites.

Friday...Taco Pizza....Friday night football

Saturday.....Potato Soup with toppings in the crock pot while we break out the Christmas Decor.

Sunday......Leftovers

I hope you all have a great Monday I'm going to do some things around the house.....Happy Monday!

I love any kind of soup so I should pop by those days! It all looks good.

I'd pick shopping for birthday but that's just me! Hope you have a good week Jen.

Our H.S. football team (which is where I went to H.S.) played for a state game on Friday night, too. But we didn't fare as well:( Happy birthday to Miller. And that taco pizza sounds good, is there a recipe somewhere?
I just wanted to thank you for your comment on my post re leaving children behind. I so appreciated the wisdom of your father I'm going to print it out and paste it in my journal for sometime further down the road. xoxoxo

Miller's birthday is the same day as my wedding anniversary. For YOUR birthday, I think you should do whatever makes you happy. It's your day - do what you love and enjoy it.

I'm about over leftovers. I had them again tonight and I know for sure I'mnot eating another bite of turkey or yams or stuffing. Blech.

I read your post about Black Friday and I totally agree with you. There's no way I'm going out into that craziness. The girls and I went shopping on Saturday and that was bad enough. The bargains aren't worth fighting the crowds.

Always nice to catch up with you again. I'm glad you have a fairly easy week ahead and good for you, getting all those gifts in a jar made!
