The Weekend

Good morning. The kids are up and life has started over today. Madison is getting ready for school while Miller watches Disney. I have a BIG weekend planned. Scott's party is tomorrow night with 16 people coming over. Yikes! We are tailgating it. I'm making Hot Wings, Meatballs, Pigs in a Blanket, Chili...hot dogs, cheese fries, we have cheese dip and Dill pickle dip coming I have ordered a Cookie Cake.....I'm doing up a veggie tray and some cheese. Maybe making my chicken dip...if I have time. We are stringing lights around the deck and the fire pit will be lit up. Ballgames in every room and food....for drinking we are making Strawberry Margaritas and Hot Apple Cider Rum Punch......it sounds yummy. The kids are going to granny's of course for the night!

So today I'm cleaning the house......preparing what I can get done today. Tomorrow will be cleaning up the front porch and getting the deck together....dusting and vacuuming. Setting up tables. We are excited...it should be loads of fun.

Miller has a cold though and I hope it just passes....Madison had it earlier and gave it to her little brother.....that happens I know.

Our highschool football team is in the playoffs so Scott will be at the game tonight....go Flash!
