HEY WOMAN!!
No I aint dead. Thanks for thinking about me. I miss you too. We have started on pecans but we are so disappointed because the prices are soooo low, it makes me sick. On another note.. My grand is sooo sweet Jen! I love her so much! My boys were 2, 4,&5 when I got them & the hospital babies just dont count at all....so this little one is XTRA special to me. When she is in my arms nothing else matters.....there could be air planes landing beside me & I'm oblivious to it all! Aint that just tooo special!! I see you are busy as usual....got the holidays planned out. I do have a candy recipe to give you. Danny came home with the recipe the other day & made some....good & easy. I'll go look for it. Love ya.

I have no idea what these are called so call them what-ever you like.

2 bags of Kraft carmel squares
1/3 can of sweet condensed milk
2 tbps butter
2 cups chopped pecans
1 pkg white choc. squares

melt first 3 ingre. in micro. Add nuts. Spoon on cookie pan & refrigerate for hour or two. melt choc in micro & then dip carmel nut things in the choc. cool on a pan.

When Danny made these the other day he made half with white & the rest w/ reg choc. Both are good. Oh & we decided to add another cup of nuts the next time we make it. Easy & good. Dont burn your choc. in the micro.

Oh my gosh, THANK YOU, Jen. I'm so out of it, bloggy-wise, this is a huge help to me. I've traveled so much this past four weeks, it's been impossible to keep up. And bloglines says I have almost 600 unread posts!!! so this is a huge help to me.

About your works for me request. My divinity recipe is in my sidebar and trust me, it's always a big hit. No one knows how to make genuine divinity any more but everyone loves it. It's honestly not that difficult to make and it always makes a really nice impression on anyone lucky enough to have it served to them.

Also, this year I'm thinking about going back to an old standby - fudge. Real fudge, which I haven't made in years, and although I don't care for chocolate, I'm smart enough to know I'm the freak. Everyone else in my family loves it and I know it will be a hit.

Also, fudge packs well if you want to send it to someone for Christmas.

There you have it. My "great" tips!

LOL

Thanks for all the links. There's a lot going on. It's hard to keep up with all of blogland and home, too.

Thank you for the list of Christmas shows. I enjoyed the list last year, and was happy to get it this year. Thanks, Jen!

When I grow up, I want to be more organized like you. ;0)
