Good morning everyone. Karla @ Looking Towards Heaven is hosting A Gobble Gobble Some Good Stuff .....she is wanting our Thanksgiving Menu's.....so here goes
My mom cooks this meal...I help.
Turkey & Her Mom's Dressing
Green Beans
Corn Casserole
Mashed Potatoes
Giblet Gravy
Broccoli Salad
Cranberry Salad
Homemade Yeast Rolls
Sweet Potato Casserole with marshmallow topping
Pumpkin Pie with French Vanilla Cool Whip
Derby Pie
Cocunut 3 layer cake
She always has House of Grace Tea and Coffee with Baileys too
My Corn Casserole was what my grandmother always made and she passed away last April...so I'm sharing this recipe and the House of Grace Tea.....it's wonderful.
Corn Casserole
House of Grace Tea
House of Grace Tea
1 cup of sugar
2/3 cup of instant tea
3/4 cup lemonade (I use Countrytime)
1/4 cup of white grape juice
Add 1 gallon of water to all ingredients and mix....add a slice lemon to each glass.
She make this on special occasions and we all love it.....

Corn Casserole
Corn Casserole
1 can Cream of Corn
1 can of Whole Kernel Corn
1 can diced green chilies
1 8 ounce package of cream cheese
½ stick of melted butter
Mix together butter and cream cheese until well blended.
Add the rest of ingredients and Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes
Until bubbly on top…..

Love the tea recipe too. I am a big tea drinker!
That corn casserole sounds delicious - the green chiles seem like they would be a great addition. I love that you are keeping the tradition going. That is so important in having a strong family.
