Okay...so it's Thursday already.......here is my recipe...

Crock pot Enchiladas

2 cans of chicken
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1 can Rotel Tomatoes
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 can sliced black olives
1 package of flour tortillas

Mix together cream of chicken, can chicken, and rotel tomatoes

Spray Crockpot with Pam......layer one tortilla...put some of the mixture on it...sprinkle with cheese.....repeat layers.....when at the top...sprinkle with the rest of cheese and sprinkle olives....Cook on high 4 hours...or low 6 hours.....very good and easy

Thirteen things I have learned about marriage with Scott

1. He is never, ever, ever, ever.....going to replace the trash bag after taking the trash out..EVER!!!!!

2. You never go to sleep not talking to one another....

3. Go on a date at least once a month with out kids or friends or family....stay out for at least 3 hours and just talk...or make out..which ever

4. A bottle of wine, an ocean and sunset..will solve any problems your having at that moment.

5. Marriage is a two way street..listen with both ears open and let both of you talk

6. Sex & Money will kill a marriage....keep peace with both

7. Laughing with each other will make you feel like newlyweds again

8. Praying together as husband and wife is well.....AMAZING...try it sometime.

9. Don't ever let your children come between you...stand your ground don't take sides...and agree with each other at least in front of the children....you can dis agree later

10. Watching together your baby coming into this world for the first time is the most beautiful thing you will ever experience as parents.

11. When the Ky Wildcats, the St Louis Cardinals, or Lost is on no one can talk...I mean No one!

12. I've learned not to argue with Scott while traveling in a car.....for when I fall asleep he will jerk the wheel as if we are going to wreck..just to see me pee on myself from fear

13.I learned in the 13 years together with Scott that we have grown, we have laughed, and we have loved....and we wouldn't have it any other way....

Happy Thursday my friends....

This was an awesome post. So many truths. I don't think mine will ever put a new bag in the trash either. Sometimes when he comes in I just stand and stare at the trash can and he says "what" I of course say "nothing" and go about my merry way putting the bag in later. So far he hasn't gotten the hint.

The recipe sounds awesome...I'll have to try it!

Love the list! I think if you changed a few words in your list that could be for me and my hubby too! Change the teams to Cowboys and Dallas Stars and it is him to a tee!

Hope you have a good day today!!!

The recipe sounds awesome and I LOVED your Thursday Thirteen. So much truth there!

I especially agree with number 8. Praying together is more intimate then sex in my humble opinion and should never be taken lightly.

We have been married 22 years and still "date" at least once a month.

how precious - i love your thursday 13!! as for the crockpot enchiladas, yum! i make these and my family LOVES them!!!!! :)
That recipe looks so good! And good T13 list; guess I need to get mine combined into one like this, good idea.
First of all, that recipe sounds delicious! Mexican fare is my favorite.
I loved your Thursday Thirteen list. I couldn't agree more about the importance of date nights and not letting the kids come between you. Keeps a marriage strong in my humble opinion. Also, I am laughing out loud about the trash bag thing. My husband does the same thing, except he will throw trash in the empty barrel then say "Hey! There's no bag in there"....hmmm...you don't say?

What a fun post. The recipe sounds wonderful. Anything with Ro-tel tomotoes in it has to be good.

And your Thursday Thirteen is awesome. I agree with every single thing on it, especially #1. Rob's getting better about the trash bag thing but only because I keep replacement bags in the bottom of the trash can so they're right there and impossible to ignore.

This is a great post, Jen.

Jen do I say this every week....I love thursday's with you!!! Yep you've got some good ones there. My Sunday school teacher (Her & her husband do marriage counseling) tells every new married couple that one of the keys to a good marriage is going out regularly and having good food & good sex! She 65 & I really believe her & her handsome husband practice what they preach...they have been married for 40 something years.
Wonderful list for your T13 and those enchiladas sound great. I'm going to have to try that!!!

Have an awesome day!

What a great Thursday 13. I love all your words of wisdom, even the ones unique to your marriage. I have been married for about the same time(14 years this past June). I will definitely amen the one about talking during football games(cowboys here). That should have been a top priority in an engaged couple book, right behind praying together. He He He.

I really enjoyed your post. I have had crockpot enchildas before, but haven't had a recipe, so I will definatly try this.
And I loved your Thursday Thirteen. What is it with men and trash bags? It's an unspoken universal thing.
