It's cold here today
It is so cold here today...in the 30's.....there was a light frost.....which means to me.....winter is coming. I had my heated mattress pad on last night. So I was nice and cozy all night. I have pulled something in my neck......which shoots off this horrible pain down my back and up into my head....I'm sure it's from hauling little Miller around everywhere......
I have been making my Christmas lists.......lists of gifts to buy people, lists of food to make people, lists of people to send Christmas cards too, you get the picture.....even my meals I prepare that month for different friends and family.
One other thing......please pray for my family this week......my step dad's brother passed away yesterday.......he had cancer and was in a lot of pain...he is a Christian and better off now......but we need his family to heal from the loss. I know you all will pray for us all.
Miller is cutting another tooth so we were up quite a bit last night.....and since "I'M STILL NURSING.........I'm completely worn out.....we have 3 weeks until I start weaning him....its been 8 years since I weaned a child...so any advice out there would be greatly appreciated....this little man right now likes to nurse about 4-5 times a day still.
This is short and not a whole to say.........I'll post later if something happens......

You've got it together for the Christmas stuff! I've been making a Christmas list and buying a few things here and there, but I'm not nearly as organized as you are!
I was so lucky with Emily and weaning. The day she started walking at 10 months old she weaned herself. It was almost like she just couldn't sit still for that long and really wanted absolutely nothing more to do with nursing. I was heartbroken because I wasn't mentally ready for it, but it worked out for the best. I only breastfed Travis for about a week, so I didn't have to wean him. He had terrible reflux and was happier and threw up less with the special formula we had for him.
Hope you have a great day!
Sending you cheer & prayers this evening!!
Will be praying for your stepdad's family.
Huge hugs,
Sandra
That is so awesome about Madison being baptized Sunday night. I know that you are so very proud of her, and proud of yourself for being a great parent (Scott too).
I hope that you do post some pics. I saw some of her from your earlier blogs, and she is a little Jenny. Although Miller really looks like you.
I will be praying for your family. I hope that things get easier.
I am an organzing wierdo. I have actually gone to my friends houses and organized their closets. For fun. I have my preliminary lists done for gifts, as well as editing my card list from last year. I have also taken stock of what decorations I have and what I was wanting to buy last year and didn't.
The weaning thing, well, you made it a bit longer than I did, so I think that he will probably just lead you. Are you wanting to stop, or just feel it's time?
Sorry so long, just covering several days in one. Take care.
The one line goes like this.. "WE like hooters too for their hot wings too.!!! Michelle
