Thirteen things I have learned about marriage with Scott
1. He is never, ever, ever, ever.....going to replace the trash bag after taking the trash out..EVER!!!!!
2. You never go to sleep not talking to one another....
3. Go on a date at least once a month with out kids or friends or family....stay out for at least 3 hours and just talk...or make out..which ever
4. A bottle of wine, an ocean and sunset..will solve any problems your having at that moment.
5. Marriage is a two way street..listen with both ears open and let both of you talk
6. Sex & Money will kill a marriage....keep peace with both
7. Laughing with each other will make you feel like newlyweds again
8. Praying together as husband and wife is well.....AMAZING...try it sometime.
9. Don't ever let your children come between you...stand your ground don't take sides...and agree with each other at least in front of the children....you can dis agree later
10. Watching together your baby coming into this world for the first time is the most beautiful thing you will ever experience as parents.
11. When the Ky Wildcats, the St Louis Cardinals, or Lost is on no one can talk...I mean No one!
12. I've learned not to argue with Scott while traveling in a car.....for when I fall asleep he will jerk the wheel as if we are going to wreck..just to see me pee on myself from fear
13.I learned in the 13 years together with Scott that we have grown, we have laughed, and we have loved....and we wouldn't have it any other way....
Happy Thursday my friends....

LOVE crockpot enchiladas, thanks for sharing :)
LOL I had to laugh at the trash thing, you know mine is exactly the same way, must be a guy thing LOL
Love the list! I think if you changed a few words in your list that could be for me and my hubby too! Change the teams to Cowboys and Dallas Stars and it is him to a tee!
Hope you have a good day today!!!
I especially agree with number 8. Praying together is more intimate then sex in my humble opinion and should never be taken lightly.
We have been married 22 years and still "date" at least once a month.
I loved your Thursday Thirteen list. I couldn't agree more about the importance of date nights and not letting the kids come between you. Keeps a marriage strong in my humble opinion. Also, I am laughing out loud about the trash bag thing. My husband does the same thing, except he will throw trash in the empty barrel then say "Hey! There's no bag in there"....hmmm...you don't say?
And your Thursday Thirteen is awesome. I agree with every single thing on it, especially #1. Rob's getting better about the trash bag thing but only because I keep replacement bags in the bottom of the trash can so they're right there and impossible to ignore.
This is a great post, Jen.
Have an awesome day!
And I loved your Thursday Thirteen. What is it with men and trash bags? It's an unspoken universal thing.
