Friday!

For more Favorite things go visit Suzanne over at Living to tell the story....

1. Watching Madison cheer at our local football game. She does such a great job. I'm so proud of her.

2. The cooler temps in the mornings and evenings have been nice. Not so nice on our allergies but nice enough to sit outside and not be eat up by mosquitoes.

3. Grocery shopping alone. I know this sounds funny. But taking kids to Walmart is not a happy feeling. So I got to go yesterday by myself....it was a favorite!

I TOTALLY understand grocery shopping alone! When my kids were small I did my grocery shopping on Thursday nights - PAY day - so that my husband could keep them while I went! I couldn't THINK if I had them with me... even if I had a list.

You are going to LOOOOOVE Fireproofing Your Marriage! We did that study just about a year ago... it is great! Have you seen the movie?

I used to love grocery shopping alone. It was a treat. I was actually able to think. LOL.

I'm loving the cooler evenings too. And it's funny how quickly it does cool off now once the sun dips down.

I love grocery shopping alone, too! As long as I'm organized with a list, which doesn't always happen:?

Have a great weekend, Jen.

These days The Professor does our grocery shopping. I'm a lucky girl as I do. not. like shopping, even alone.

Your week does sound busy. And your weekend too. I hope you enjoy it!

I agree with you, its wonderful to shop alone, that way you can really think. My daughter was a cheerleader and I always enjoyed watching her as well.

I understand what you're saying about grocery shopping without children. I totally understand.
I just watched Survivor too and I'm hooked.
Happy Weekend.

Ditto on loving the grocery shopping alone, no little hands putting stuff in the cart that you end up buying even though they weren't on the list.

Sounds like you have another busy weekend planned. Enjoy.

We taught Fireproof Your Marriage last spring, and it was a wonderful course. It was amazing, though, how almost all the couples (Brad and I included) felt a deep sense of spiritual warfare as we were going through the course. The devil seemed to be trying extra hard with all the couples to find wedges and force them apart. God prevails though as we found a way to recognize what was happening, and cast Satan aside. I'll pray for your group to be protected! I'll have to go back and look in my archives b/c I think I wrote a post on it. Anyway, you will be blessed as will your participants. I'll be anxious to hear how it goes!
