Rainy Mondays

For more day books go on over to see Peggy @ The Simple woman's day book.

FOR TODAY ..... Monday....June 15th....

Outside my window...it's raining...and humid. No one out walking today.

I am thinking...of all the great things Miller and I are doing this week while dad and Madison are at church camp.

I'am praying for.....Scott and Madison to have a safe week.

I am thankful for... our great new Sunday School class. We had 18 on Sunday and would have had 26 but 2 couples were out of town and 2 couples were serving in other areas of the church. Praise God!

From the learning rooms...it's summer time.....nothing...we are painting today due to the rain.

From the kitchen...with it just me and Miller...there wont be alot of cooking. We do however plan on making Madison and daddy a big chocolate cake for when they come home Friday.

I am wearing...pajamas.

I am creating...a summer scrapbook with Madison. She is taking alot of pictures.

I am going...no where today. Kind of nice.

I am reading...Out of their faces and into their Shoes. A new book loaned to me by a dear friend.

I am hoping...for an easy week. Is there such thing?

I am hearing....Miller play with his tools.

Around the house...bathrooms, stripping sheets and dusting. A good clean of this house today.

One of my favorite things...when a loved one comes home from a trip.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Miller and I have a movie date tomorrow, I have lunch with an old friend this week, we have a playdate on Friday too and a great day at the lake with my parents also...dinner out with my parents as well.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...until we see you two Friday....have fun and know we love you!

My gosh that girl is growing up too fast! She is a beauty. Scott is a handsome fella too. I know you and Miller will have a great week. I don't blame you for not going anywhere today. If I had my way I wouldn't have either!

What beautiful picture of father and daughter. Such a special relationship and its so neat that they get to have a week at camp, just the two of them. I loved your favorite thing. . . having loved ones return home.

You and Miller will have a fun week together, too. It's nice for the kids to have one-on-one time, and especially nice for the parents, I think.

Sounds like you will have a fun week despite your daughter and dear hubby being gone. What a special time they will have!

I am planning a date with my daughter (6) tomorrow and we are both looking forward to it!
I bet they have a great time at camp, and I hope you and Miller have fun at home. Chocolate cake, yummy!

Have a wonderful day :)
