Friday's

For more Favorite things go visit Suzanne over at Living to tell the story....

1. Vacation Bible School. It has flown by. And been just wonderful! I'm exhausted...but a good exhausted. It's such a blessing to get to work this.

2. Little cat naps with the kids. 2 days this week me and Miller and Madison have laid in the living room after bible school with quilts and popcorn and watched movies. Resting and cat napping. I love this.

3. The smell of laundry in the dryer. I love the fresh smell it has.

4. Conversations with Madison. She is growing up. Maturing everyday. We had some great talks this week.

5. My garden again. I pulled my first zucchini and cooked this week. Yum! It was great. I have alot of squash and tomatoes getting big. The peppers and green beans are blooming...I love it.

This weekend is not busy at all. I planned it this week. As a close to bible school happens I will be so tired by tonight. So dinner tonight is pizza on the grill with a light salad. Eating on the deck. Tomorrow Madison and I have planned a girl day shopping and having lunch out together. While Miller and Scott do thier thing. Madison has a party tomorrow night and we will hang close to home. Sunday is church..the class is doing awesome as numbers go up. Keep praying please. And bible school performance closes our evening with Miller's class singing He's got the whole world in his hands....I cant wait. Enjoy your weekend....we will talk Monday.

The only thing I have eaten out of our garden is some banana peppers. We have blooms and little maters coming along though. Sounds like you have had an excellent week. I too love to be piled up watching movies and napping. Enjoy this time w/your kids, they grow up so very fast.

We are having DVBS this week too - it finishes up on Sunday. they are having a great time.

I'm so looking forward to fresh garden produce - we have rhubarb but that's all so far.

Happy weekend!

Great list - I loved those afternoons curled up on the couch with my daughter. We had great yellow squash from our garden last year - it seems like every time I checked, there was a new one ready to pick and steam for dinner. Your own garden-fresh produce is so good.

Have a wonderful, restful weekend!

My big garden consists of two tomato plants in two containers. LOL. And this is my first try at them. Wish me luck!

My family loves squash. Especially spaghetti squash. Yummy.

Your time with your kids sounds so laid back and wonderful!
