Mondays at Peggy's

For Today...August 25th

Outside my Window...there are clouds no sun....and the temp is not too bad.

I am thinking...that I need to call school as Madison is sick in bed with a high fever...I hate it that she is already missing school.

I am thankful for... Motrin and Tylenol....Madison has had a high fever since after church yesterday and a soar throat...so I'm thankful for medicines that will make her feel better.

From the kitchen...For breakfast Apple Dumplings with milk...lunch is soup and peanut butter and honey and dinner is Chicken and Dumplins squash and sliced tomatoes and a big old fat chocolate cake for dessert.

I am wearing...a blank tank top and grey pajama pants.

I am reading..the Barefoot Conntessa cookbooks

I am hoping... Madison is feeling better...and that Miller and I dont get sick

I'm going.....to see Trace Adkins on Saturday night....whoo hoo!

I am hearing...Scott walk back and forth as he is leaving for work.

I'am Creating..... A new Recipe Blog....please go on over and tell me what you think....Eat, Drink and be Merry....

Around the house... beds need stripping....furniture needs dusting...bathrooms need cleaning...disinfecting the house from germs

One of my favorite things... pumpkin spice candles

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...Madison starts her babysitting class and she also has gymnastics and cheerleading...I have a nail appointment...we have back to School night..dinner with some friends one night and the Trace Adkins concert of course....I have my Wednesday to myself and maybe lunch with a friend....we will be squeezing in the pool as much as possible with it closing this weekend and Labor Day will be celebrating with my parents.

For more of these wonderful day books....go on over to see Peggy at The Simple Woman....you wont want to miss this!

The picture thought I'm sharing with you is from my new blog......please go over and check me out.....Eat, Drink and Be Merry

I heart Trace Adkins. I assume you are crossing the river to see him. I think it is cool that the ticket prices are only $20, or so I was told. He wanted anyone who wanted to see him to be able to afford it.

I almost forgot.....I hope your little one feels better soon. Tylenol and Motrin are wonderful items.
Your menu today sounds wonderful. And I hope Madison is feeling better!

Oh Jen I can totally relate, last week both Jasmine and Nicholas missed a day of school because of fevers. It's awful. I hope Madison feels better!

I'm going over to your recipe blog right now, I am so excited you started one up!

Hugs,
Sandra
It has been cloudy/rainy here some since Saturday evening, at least it's keeping the temp down for now. Oh yum, a recipe blog! That will be fun, your recipes sound so good. I've used several of yours before, thanks for sharing them!
hope your sick one gets well quick - it doesnt take long for those germs to move around the entire school! And I LOVE the barefoot contessa - would love to eat at her house.
