For Today

Outside my Window..................The sun is shining bright and already we are under a heat advisory. It's sticky hot too. The towels are hanging over my deck from being at the pool yesterday.

I'am thinking........of what we will do today. Madison goes back to school in 2 days so I want her rested up and excited.

I'am thankful for........my children. How happy they are. And my sweet husband that loves us all so much.

From the kitchen.....Sloppy Joes tonight...biscuits and homemade jelly this morning....lunch...tuna sandwiches and chips

I'am creating......my menu plan for the next 2 weeks. Going through cookbooks and emails for recipes.

I'am wearing.....Purple shorts and a hot pink t shirt....I dont match...and I'm bare foot.

I'am reading......The Mommy Diaries

I'am hoping.......for a nice relaxing next 2 days before Madison goes back to school.

I'am hearing......nothing...everyone is still sleeping.

Around the house......I need to strip sheets and do some laundry.

One of my Favorite Things.... going out to the family farm and seeing the simple ways of life...

A Few Plans for the rest of the week.......Madison starts gymnastics on Tuesday night...Cheerleading starts back on Thursday night...painting a room in the preschool wing at church one night...having lunch with mom and the kids...a hair appointment....cleaning my closet out...a day at a local waterpark...dinner with friends and a lunch date thrown in there too.

I dont have a picture again.....but yet another summer thought...grab a blanket and some lemonade and at dusk go outside with your kids and watch the stars start coming out...catch some fire flies and enjoy your time with them.
