A dinner party

Today will be quite a busy day for us. We have friends coming for dinner at 6pm. I'll show you my menu for tonight at the end of this post.
Anyway....we also have the food drive at church this afternoon......Madison is also going with her Sunday School Class to deliver presents to a little girl they adopted for Christmas.

So today I'm going to start cooking a little....cleaning a little.....get ready myself. Go do the food distribution eat lunch with a friend.....come home cook and clean some more. I'm glad Scott is here so he can help out with the kids today.
I'm looking forward to my friends coming tonight. We should have a great time.
We also need to take our gifts in a jar to the rest of our neighbors sometime today or tomorrow.
I dont think we could fit anything else into this day....but we enjoy it.

Our Menu tonight is as follows

Appetizers.....Tuscan Cheese ball with crackers
Shrimp and Cocktail sauce

Paula Deen's Chicken Divan
Pasta House Salad
Bread with Rosemary

Jingle Juice
House of Grace Tea

Peanut Butter Pie for dessert

So there ya have it......I so hope you all have a great Friday. Get that shopping done and try to relax these last few days before Christmas!

Girl you are one busy woman. But it sounds like the fun kind of busy. I would love to try Paula Deen's chicken divan.

I hope Madison has fun. What a nice thing to do in adopting someone for Christmas. That will make this child's holiday special. My daughter who is 17 went to Bali on her mission this year and she started just like Madison by doing things with the church youth and now she is wanting to be a missionary possibly.
