Under the weather

I'm still sick. Feel as if I'm getting worse. My head is stopped up and I keep coughing up yellow and green stuff....I know this means infection. But I have no fever. I feel really crummy though. I mean really bad. My throat hurts so bad....it is so soar. Scott is working and I have both kids. Miller is coughing pretty deep himself. Who knows. This is the first time this season we have been sick. Pretty good for us. I would like to be healthy by New Years.......lol.

Yuck! Sorry you are feeling gross...I always say that it doesn't do for the mom to get sick, 'cause mom doesn't get a day off!

I hope you feel better soon!! Sounds like what we all had here for hmmmm... yep like forever lol!
We are in Catlettsburg Ky. I'm actually from WV but it's just right across the bridge (like 3 minutes) from here. But yea, I'm a Ky girl & love it. Wouldn't have it any other way.

To answer the question in your last post, no ma'am. We stay HOME on New Year's Eve. We have for years. There are just too many crazy drunk drivers out there and it feels nicer to say home and maybe have our kids over. But Rob and I are a lot older than you and your hubby, so our favorite way to party is in our own home. LOL

I'm so sorry you're sick. If you don't have fever with this, it might not be an infection which is of course what you hope. But trust me AND your mom, Mucinex is the best thing ever if you have chest congestion. She's right about the Listerine too but if your throat is really, really sore, there's nothing better than warm (actually, as hot as you can stand it) salty water to gargle with. It will make your throat feel so much better.

Hope you and Miller get over this soon. And I hope the others don't catch it. We're playing the dodge game here too. Cameron catches junk at daycare constantly and right now, all us adults are doing our best to avoid his chest cold and his pinkeye. Yeah, pinkeye. He's over it but it's soooo contagious, I'm a nervous wreck!

Give yourself a break...you were a crazy busy woman getting ready for Christmas. Just take it easy, stay warm, take the Mucinex and seriously, try gargling with warm salty water.

Hope you feel better soon enough to enjoy your New Year's plans.

xoxo

I hope you feel better soon, but look at this on the bright side, if you are sick the last few days of 2007 then you can't possibly be sick the first day of 2008 making this a great new year.

Get well soon.

Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
