Where did the time go?

It's officially over. The Christmas Holiday. We had a nice day. We got lots of nice gifts. Saw alot of people we don't normally see. And just caught up. It was nice.

Today me and Miller are sick though. I have had a really bad soar throat since late Saturday night. And Miller is has a cold. We are staying in today to rest. Madison and Scott are fine.
My mom is bringing me some Mucinex and Listerine to gargle with. Mom's are great.

I love Christmas....but glad it's over. Sometime this week I will attempt to slowly take all the Christmas down..what took 2 days to put up will take hopefully 1 day to bring down. We have enjoyed the tree at night.

We are going to dinner with friends on New Years and this will be nice. Do any of you have any plans for New Years? Share it with me....I'd like to know.

I hope you are feeling better soon. Lingering illness is bad! Being sick for Christmas is even worse!

Oh I forgot to say, for New Year's Eve we are having another couple over with their boys to play games. We'll cheer "Happy New Year" around 9 and promptly put the kidlets to bed (if we haven't already by that time)!

I know how you feel, I really had a nice day, but am glad it's over. All the build up and then it's kind of anticlimactic. I don't have any plans for New years since my hubby may have to work, but I usually spend the evening with the kids eating appetizers and watching some New years things on tv. I know we are so boring here.
