It's raining here today. I like rainy days sometimes. But Madison is going back to school today..and that makes me kind of sad. So I guess I will just have to gt over it. Her next day off will be Election Day and I think we are going to Target...which the closest one is 1 hour away.
So that is something to look forward to. I have had a great week with her home. We have slept in..(the best way Miller knows how) and just hung out, baking cookies, watching monies together and even playing some games. She is a great kid.

So, Christmas is coming up...can you believe this????? I have been making my list for people we buy for...along with Madison & Miller. Madison's is of course is verrrrry long.

So today......I will clean a little, watch some soaps, play with little Miller, and maybe get a nap in. I hope you all have a Happy Monday.....not much to blog about today.

Hey Jen...yeah rainy days can be sad & sometimes comforting. It is overcast here this morning...who knows if we will get any rain or not. We need it really bad. If we could get a good rain I think the pecans would go ahead & open & then we could get started harvesting. Have you ever been to a Hobby Lobby...my Mama tells me it is wonderful. Hope you have a good day Jen!

So tell me about this poppyseed chicken. It sounds really good.
We've already got one of Erin's big gifts, an American Girl doll. I love Christmas shopping for people, and now that I have my Christmas Club money, look out!
I know what you mean, I miss Erin too. It was nice having her home for the week.
Have a good day inside!

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend a rainy day. Just dropping by from Christina's. Hoping she is okay, after hearing about the earthquake.
Enjoyed your blog and will be back. :)

The poppyseed chicken sounds interesting, can you share the recipe???

I love Christmas and I'm also starting to plan and write lists, but I get overwhelmed LOL

Hey, which soaps do you watch...I'm a General Hospital addict LOL

Have a beautiful day,
Sandra
Wow, your menu sounds outstanding! So many good things, you're making me hungry! The caramel brownies are making me crave chocolate, too :)

Have a wonderful week!

I enjoy reading your menu plan. It definitely gives me some meal ideas for the week.

Our weather is rainy too. Just enjoyed a Chai Latte and now I have to empty the dryer -- fun!

You had to say Target. I miss my Target. All I'm stuck with here is Walmart, 5 of them.

Thanks for asking about us yesterday. We only lost power so that was good.
