The hubby and I went a couple of years ago as Danny and Sandy from Grease. I found the costumes at Party City but added a little to each. My costume had a long red skirt with a Rydell high emblem on the shirt. I added a pony tail with ribbon and my red/white saddle shoes I saved from drill team. The hubby wore black leather jacket, white t-shirt, cuffed jeans and black dress shoes. He greased his hair back so cute. Good luck with your costumes.

Good morning! Well I'm totally not very creative when it comes to costumes so I buy my costumes. Last year I was the very pregnant evil queen from Snow White I believe it is. This year we are going as a family of pirates...even the baby, the costume is so cute! Let us know what you decide. Laura

Okay, I am going to think on that costume thing. The other day I thought of a really good "duo" one and now I can't remember. So I will post it later, if I can remember it. I'm such a dork.

Yum, that chicken sounds wonderful. Being Hungarian, poppyseed is a fave. I'm definitely giving it a try!

How about a pirate and his wench...Peter Pan or Captain Hook and Tinkerbell. I know it's not very nice or politically correct, but when we were in college we went to a costume party and hubby was the Pope and I was a pregnant nun...I know...very bad!! How about a pair of hippies from the 60's, caveman and cave woman...I'll think about it some more...I'm all out of ideas right now! Let us know what you decide to be!
Geez, this sounds yummy. Gonna have to try it! Thanks, Jen.

Thank you for the chicken recipe. Easy works for me. And I didn't know Susanne was Hungarian, did you? Was I supposed to know that? I'll bet I was.

I'd wear my pj's and a cup of coffee in my hand and go as a mommy. A tired mommy. I would.

YUM!! I have to say first, I LOVE that dish. It is a family favorite and SO easy!

As for the Halloween costumes, I'm not really creative, but silly as it sounds, my SIL and her DH went as Peter Pan and Wendy!

Good luck on that one!

Thanks for the recipe. I don't even know what I am going to be so I think I'll read what the others write.

I once went to a party where a guy was dressed head to toe in tinfoil! Nothing but tinfoil. (Well I suppose he had clothes underneath somewhere). When you asked him what he was suppose to be.... he said he was a leftover.

It was so silly, funny and creative he won 1st prize.

It's been a long time since I made Poppyseed Chicken. Good reminder.
