Some things

(The Mountains in west Tn)

Good Morning. It is still dark here this morning. I'm up early to make over 50 cups of hot cocoa for the MOPS Spa Day this morning. We have massage therapists coming in from the local vocational school. And we are doing paraffin on our hands and a satin lip mask....fun day for us moms.
The house is quiet. I can here the dog eating. Scott and Madison are starting to get up and get ready.
Today is grocery day. I have split mine up into two days which works better for me and Miller. It's hard doing major shopping with a little one.
Yesterday I went looking for snow boots....and WOW...there are not many around. I did finally find a pair at K Mart for $15 on clearance.
Madison has a busy weekend. She has movie night Friday night at church. And on Saturday night she has been invited to a Murder Mystery Party. I love those. She is really excited. She has to wear a long evening gown....so I'm on the hunt for one. lol.
Around here we are just living day to day. Gearing up for our trip to the mountains next Friday.
Tomorrow I dont have alot going on. I may hit another grocery store and hang out at home, we have gone everyday or had someone here almost everyday.
I need to do some laundry and work on some things for church.
I hope you all are doing well. I may have to call a dermatologist for little Miller. His rash from his underwear still hasnt gone away. Say a prayer please.....

Second Time Around for her evening gown. You should be able to get one fairly cheap. There is another place on the loop not far from where I live. Over kind of close to Phelps Farm store. I hear it is huge. Probably get a better price than STA too.

Oh I am sorry to hear about Miller...that is a mess. I have had a busy week myself. Cant seem to get anything done.

This week's schedule actually sounds sane to me, Jen. Normally, the things you pack into a week leave me gasping for air. LOL

Madison's party sound like a lot of fun. I'm dying to know where you come up with an evening gown that fits her. You'll have to be sure you let us know.

they have the BEST diaper rash ointment here in louisiana called Boudreaux's Butt Paste. it works so good. also I found good ole destin works realy well and also plain corn starch. like the corn starch you buy to cook with! he MIGHT have a yeast infection. those are common for kids potty training. if he has little bumps that tend to look like they are "opening" or..raw..with a white-ish look around the bumps it might be a yeast infection..., some athlete's foot cream will clear it right up! like lotrimin over the counter.

p.s. athlete's foot cream sounds a little nuts, but apparently,the same type yeast/fungus that causes athelete's foot also causes surface yeast infections. so the cream works well for those little minor yeast infections on kids butt's. try it before taking him to a derm.

It's nice to get some pampering. I had a nice pedicure and manicure on Wednesday. It's always so relaxing.
