Monday at Peggy's

For Today...September 29th

Outside my Window...the sun is in the distance slowly rising. The air is crisp and the new day begins.

I am thinking... of all the lists I have made for this so busy week before my much needed vacation to the ocean begins.

From the learning rooms... today we are going to watch the Bee Movie and talk about the letter B.....and color with markers.

I am thankful for...technology and the internet. Crazy I know...but it helps me to plan so many things and keep connected with people.

From the kitchen... Breakfast is Pop Tarts and Milk....Lunch will be grilled cheese and grapes...dinner is going to be grilled pork chops, mashed potatoes and veggie casserole...and rolls.

I am wearing...my blue robe

I am reading... nothing...as I'm getting magazines together I haven't read just yet...Martha, People, Parenting (2 of them ) and I will buy another one for the road trip.

I am hoping...for a smooth day as I will run everyday this week.

I am creating... different things...a back pack for each child for the ride ...the first aid kit in the car needs changing out...the dog needs his bags packed and I need to get suit cases organized and ready.

I am hearing...the birds chirp outside my window.

Around the house... cleaning all the glass today...cleaning bathrooms, laundry to stay up on...floors got done yesterday.

One of my favorite things... walking the beach.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week... when I write my plans for the week I'm always looking at my calender..so here goes...Madison has her last babysitting class today...5 tests...yes you read it right...2 games to cheer at and gymnastics class...Miller has a music class and an ENT appointment...I have MOPS on Thursday, cooking for a friend who is having surgery...a nail appointment and a bikini wax..yes you read right again....and lunch with a friend, and my weekly bible study...along with getting things together for our vacation to the ocean...it will be a long, and hard week...

My Picture thought this week is......the road trip to the beach and all the beautiful colors along the way

I loved the picture. Living in upstate NY we are starting to see all kinds of colors. I love this time of year.

Ouch on the bikini wax. I never had one and don't plan on it now! Especially at 50 yrs old. I heard birds this morning too, dang ole kildies (not sure how to spell that) in our driveway squalking away. They are pretty birds but very annoying.

I hope you have fun on your vacation. When are you leaving, this weekend?
Sounds like you could use a nice vacation with all that running!

Have a wonderfully blessed week,
Laurie

Wow what a busy week! I am thankful for the internet, too. You never realize how much you use it until you have problems.

Have fun on vacation.

congratulations on your trip to the beach! I wish I could go with... Unfortunately no beach trips for us this year! It's the first time in about 10 years we've not visited the beach at least once. I was reading over one of your early posts today, and seriously 5am till 11pm everyday! You are one busy mama!
