Merry St. Patty's Day?


So, I have alot going on today...running errands and appointments....so your probably wondering why I have a picture of a house with Christmas lights.....okay Scott and I have been driving around town alot looking at houses ya know.....it's March people TAKE DOWN THE DARN CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ......Christmas isn't for another 8 months.....when St Patrick's Day is knocking at your door....Santa Claus needs to be put away. It's killing me people......What am I supposed to say? Merry St.Patty's Day?

That is all kinds of wrong. I also hate when they put them up way before Thanksgiving.

They still have them on?! lol I have seen places where the lights are still up but they don't turn them on. My dad leaves his up year around but doesn't turn them on til December then shuts them off in January

I suspect you're seeing lights that never get taken down. You'd think anyone that laze would be smart enough to unplug them though. LOL

Seriously..take down the Christmas lights people!! I mean, if you just haven't had time to take them down....DON'T TURN THEM ON!! haha!

Oh girl..I've got American Idol DVR'd...hehe...it's an addiction. =)

OMG last year my husband left the lights up ALL YEAR. Luckily last year I got them down & in the trash. This year my sister was taking hers down so she took mine down, too or I'm sure ours would STILL be up. Oy.

Jennifer, that's why we Kentuckians are the brunt of so many jokes! Please stop by those houses and reprimand them immediately so people like us can save face!

I'm off to get that pesky jack-o-lantern off the porch next to the couch..LOL

In our old house we kept our stockings up (they were huge and you could see them when you drove past, because we didn't have curtains.) for 8 months passes Christmas. It drove my MIL crazy! And also some people from our church, so to spite them all, we weren't ever going to take them down. When we moved we left them in the house (church pasonage) and they mailed them to us!!!!!!

At least it looks nice. Some people leave up lights that look like garbage. Maybe it's a husband in retaliation for his wife making him put up so many lights to begin with.

That is too funny that they still have Christmas lights up, they should at least turn them off if leaving them up!
