FOR TODAY...Monday...December 7th

Outside my window... it's cold...I can tell its the holidays as I see everyone's Christmas Tree lights on in their window's. As people walk by the house they are bundled up from head to toe.

I am thinking... about the Dr appointment I'm taking Miller too today. It's the dreaded 4 year old check up....4 shots and a finger prick and peeing in a cup....its going to be a long tough morning for the little fella...say a little prayer for us both. :)

I am thankful for... Sweet Friends...who surprise me and love me for who I'am. I have so many who teach me that life is so short and to embrace each moment...thank you all for this.

I am wearing...tank and yoga pants.

I am remembering... that he died on the cross for me.

I am going... to the doctor's office today....and a game tonight for Madison. This week is busy I'm going every single day..

I am reading...Christmas through a child's eyes.

I am hoping... that we stay stress free throughout the holidays.

On my mind... Our Sundays Schools Christmas Party this year....it's a Progressive dinner and the main course is at my home.....we are doing Italian...looking forward to it!

From the learning rooms... Painting ornaments for grandparents.

Noticing that...Miller and Madison are not always going to do what I want them to do...part of that parent/child thing....but that I love them unconditionally.

Pondering these words... Be still and Know that I'am God...Psalms 46:10.....repeating this verse thru the hustle and bustle of the season.

From the kitchen... not alot this week....veggie beef soup and cornbread....the rest is eating out....either a party or my birthday dinners....also trying to make time for a candy making day!

Around the house..laundry, making beds, floors, wrapping presents

One of my favorite things....my birthday....tomorrow!

From my picture journal..

Happy Birthday!
I liked what you said about looking outside.
We like to walk a neighborhood and see the lights at night. Our street doesn't have a lot but Daughter's does so we may go for a walk over there soon.
Enjoyed this early morning visit.

"peeing in a cup" made me laugh, because my youngest had bladder problems and had to have regular pee tests as a little one. We spent many hours in children's outpatients waiting for him to pee!
