It's friday!

For more Favorite things go visit Suzanne over at Living to tell the story....

1. Christmas Cards. I love to get them and send them out. And I love to look at them years past. I keep them each year in a large box. Watching peoples children grow up over the years is also amazing.

2. Holiday Parties. We have had several this week to attend. Along with childrens parties. I love to dress up and attend them all. This weekend we have an appetizer party at our home tonight and friends over for dinner tomorrow night....count down is beginning.

3. Taking time out for myself this week. I took Wednesday and got my nails done, shopped and took my time. It was nice. Holiday hustle and bustle can easily take you over. I didnt want that to happen this year.

4. A book I bought myself for my birthday....The Friends you keep. I just started it and love it. Can hardly put it down. I recommend each of you read it!

5. Appetizers for dinner. Yum!

I hope you all enjoy your holidays. This is the last weekend before Christmas. I have all my gifts bought....wrapped and under the tree. The candy is made and cookies almost done. I'm baking breads on New Years....we have so much sweetness going on around here...I'm doing breakfast casseroles for neighbors....2 for today to make. I have some neighbors coming over for appetizers tonight and friends for dinner tomorrow night. Madison has a formal to go to tomorrow night. Her dress is awesome. I will post pictures the first of the year.
Scott is off the week after Christmas. We have something every night until Christmas but its all good stuff. I hope you all have a great weekend!
See you Monday!

ooOhh. My husband is off work next week and one of the things I am looking forward to is taking some time out for myself and going out for a morning without a time frame or schedule or list of things that absolutely have to be done in 25 minutes. =) I'm with you on time for one's self!

Have a wonderfully merry Christmas!

You are organized! I'm impressed. want to come up here and give me a hand?? :)

We had our busy week last week with concerts and pageants and parties - it seems to have quieted down thankfully. Only family things left. And Christmas Eve and Sunday services.

Time for quiet evenings around the fireplace listening to carols - while I wrap presents :)

Happy weekend!

I'm so happy for you that you are having such a fun holiday with your friends and family. It is great that Scott is around to enjoy it all with you.

I can't wait to see pictures of Madison dressed up for her formal. I can't believe how grown up your kids are since I started posting on your blog.

Yummy, all that sweetness this time of year is perfection.

Thanks for the book recommendation. I am going to get this one. Sounds too good to pass up.

Have a very Merry Christmas and God bless you and your family.

Christmas cards. Love them too, but I'm so behind this year, I'm not even going to think about it.

Your week sounds lovely! Time out for me sounds like it was lots of fun. I need to do that!

No FFF on Christmas Day but we'll be back to kick off New Years!

Merry Christmas!
