Monday at my house

For more day books go on over to see Peggy @ The Simple woman's day book.

FOR TODAY ..... Monday....July 13th....

Outside my window...the birds are flying around looking for food. It's quiet. No sun yet.

I am thinking...of old movies to search for so we can watch one this week...summer movies...

I'am praying for.....family and friends this week.

I am thankful for... my life.

From the learning rooms...a fun activity for Miller. I found flip flops by Crayola at Aldis this past week with fabric markers at $2 and bought them....Miller will get to color his own flip flops this week.

From the kitchen.....peach jam, Rotel Cheesy Chicken, Cannelloni, Cheeseburger Soup with bread, blackberry cobbler

I am wearing...tank and yoga pants

I am creating...disney food reservations this week.

I am going...to swim lessons with Miller, then running a few errands down town, followed by taking Miller to the river for ice cream and watching the boats go by....a nice summer afternoon.

I am reading...Tracing the Rainbow through the rain/almost done and a very good read.

I am hoping....for the ladies to call me back on cleaning my house once a month..a deep clean to help me out.

I am hearing....Scooby Doo

Around the house...folding alot of laundry from the weekend, stripping sheets, mopping floors, and vacuuming and bathrooms.

One of my favorite things...funnel cakes.

A few plans for the rest of the week:
swim lessons, cheer camp for Madison, gymnastics, youth group at church starts up...and friends coming over for dinner, and a wedding.....oh and fall ball sign ups for Miller.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...Me and Scott on a date.

Awwww, yall are such a cute couple! I love that you are able to spend so much time with your kids. That, in my opinion, is how it should be. I was able to spend one summer with mine when Ryan was 15 and Stephanie was 5. It was one of the best summers of my life!

I smiled to see you are an Aldi fan as well! I saw those flipflops but my youngest opted for the navy blue sketchers knockoffs up by the cash register for $1.99!!
Oooh, I love old movies......did you find one? I love The Philadelphia Story, An Affair to Remember, North by Northwest (sort of a thriller) and those are all Cary Grant movies, I love him! Roman Holiday is another good one. There are a ton of choices out there.
