My Day Book

For more day books go on over to see Peggy @ The Simple woman's day book.

FOR TODAY ..... Monday....July 27th....

Outside my window..the sun is shining bright..and I can hear cars starting up to go to work..another week.

I am thinking...of our road trip we are taking today with the kids. I will blog about it this week.

I'am praying children.

I am thankful for... our Sunday School Class

From the learning rooms...Just spending the last couple of weeks with the kids before they go back to school. Just fun days.

From the kitchen....Chicken Parmesan, Meatballs in gravy with potatoes, Brats on the grill, Salmon, salad and greens, and dessert this week will be banana pudding. I made 12 jars of peach jam on Saturday morning and put up several bags of green beans. (froze them) I still need to do tomatoes....this week hopefully.

I am wearing...shorts and

I am creating...alot of pictures for our summer scrap book.

I am going..on a road trip with the kids today....a fun day.

I am reading...nothing this week...Homelife magazine.

I am hoping....for good weather this week.

I am drive by the house.

Around the house...stripping bed sheets, working in the gardens, filling the bird feeders, dusting, alot of laundry, and floors.

One of my favorite things....picnics!

A few plans for the rest of the week:
I have something fun planned almost everyday for the kids. This is the week before school kicks gymnastics, no cheer practice and no swim lessons.....what will we do??? We are going on a road trip, going to a local pottery shop to paint, going swimming, Madison is having a Back to school Party....and dinner without kids with some friends one night....still busy...but a fun kind of busy!

Here is picture thought I am sharing...Our Local Farmers market.

What a great week ahead! I love the photo, too. Farmer's markets are such great fun. It sounds like you could have your own stand, with all those peaches and beans and tomatoes.
