friday!

For more Favorite things go visit Suzanne over at Living to tell the story....

1. Family Reunions. We all go to them not knowing everyone even if you have been in the family for 20+ years. At first you dont wanna go....but then you do with your covered dish and the kids run and play with cousins and we sit and talk with our age group. Reunions are nice to sit around and look at all the generations that made our family.

2. Painting Pottery with the kids. We have a local Pottery Shop that children can go in and for a small fee they can paint pottery. Miller and Madison painted flip flops, baseballs and a football. Miller had never been and he had a blast. Madison loves going here yet we haven't been in awhile.

3. Rainy Days. It gives us a break....to just lay around and sleep in, or watch movies.

4. My Cucumber Foot Scrub. I special order it from my nail tech and i love it. It makes my feet feel silky smooth.

5. My road trip with the kids this week. I love taking them to different places and experiencing different things with them. We had a great time.

We have a crazy weekend. Madison has her Back to School Swim Party we are hosting for her tonight at the club. She has another swim gig to attend tomorrow and a private swim party on Sunday we are going too. So swim swim swim we will. I'm off today to collect all her party things.
Enjoy your weekend.

Great faves! Your being supportive to your child is inspiring. I love family reunions too; never been to one since 2000 but I love them.

Your #1 sounds familiar to me -- don't want to go... go and enjoy the time!

Family reunions are always fun, I like how you said it's nice to see all the generations that made our family. :)
Rainy days......I hear you on that one! :)

The pottery painting sounds like so much fun. My kids would have loved something like that!

We don't have family reunions but they sound like so much fun.

Now that I'm, um, older, I love family reunions. :-) I love your rainy day attitude--makes me wish for a rainy day here. We're having a Jr. High girls' sleepover at our house tonight; hope you have fun with your swim party.

I love family reunions. But we don't manage to have them very often. Our family is spread out all over the country.

All that swimming sounds nice. You're having a great summer!
My parents are at a family reunion right now! I bowed out because it would have been too tough on the kids to be away from our home again. But, I know that I am missing some FUN!

Have fun with all of the swimming! We are going to hit the pool tomorrow :)
