1. Fresh Peaches. There is a Peach Farm in Southern Illinois that has the best peaches...I'm making peach jam this weekend. YUM!
2. Sunny Days. We haven't had alot of rain this summer so therefore the sunny days are really nice. Something about the sun shining bright.
3. Spending the entire day with Madison. We did this on Wednesday. Miller went to momma's and she and I had manicures, and lunch together. Then we went shopping ending the day with dessert at Dairy Queen...a great day indeed.
4. Taking Miller to the Toy Store. Madison had gymnastics one day this week and we had an hour to spare..so went to the toy store and walked around for an hour. We both had a ball. I enjoy little times like this with my kids.
5. Having friends over dinner. I love to entertain. We had some friends over last weekend for dinner. We ate, hung out on the deck, drank some sangria and talked some more...enjoying our time with friends is priceless.
So there you have it....my favorites this past week. We are getting back to school supplies today for Madison. Lunch out with my two favorite kids....and then to a local pottery shop to let them paint something great.
Tomorrow Madison has a car wash to work so me and dad are taking Miller bowling. Enjoying those last days of summer with each other. We have a picnic at a local park tomorrow night and then church and a family reunion on Sunday.

Suggestion...go to the Dollar Tree and look over by the party supplies. They have the neatest silly visors (see my post from the weekend)for $1 a piece. We had more fun w/our hats this past weekend. Miller would love it, not so sure about Madison! lol
Your days with your kids sound so fun and bring back fond memories.
I don't entertain nearly as much a I should. It seems like so much work preparing, but it is so enjoyable once the friends are there.
