Day to Day

Yesterday was our first day of swim lessons for little Miller. He was so excited when we arrived. But after being forced to go under water and holding his breath....he didn't think it was fun and wanted to go home. We have 9 more days of it. I asked him this morning if he was ready to go back today and his answer was....no. Lets stay home and watch movies. I don't want him scared of the water and if we put a pool in next year he has to know how to swim. I just hope he starts to have fun with it. Madison is getting in today. Maybe that will make it easier for him. We will see.

Scott went back to work yesterday. His time at home was nice. We enjoyed his company. We hit the pool a couple of days and grilled on the deck and just had some old fashion relaxing fun. A good 4th of July. A BBQ at a friends house and at my momma's. A great holiday.

This weekend coming up is a day trip to an amusement park. Cannot wait. Madison is bringing a friend. We are looking forward to going. Miller has never been to one. And this was the age we took Madison for the first time...hoping its a great day for the kids. Miller's best friend is going too. That will help.

So some friends of mine have started up a Bunco group. I'm really excited about this. It starts tonight..the planning part of Bunco. Fun times with women and food and games....

The weather here has been great. Not too hot. Not cold. There has been a breeze in the air. That always helps. Yesterday we met some friends after swim lessons at the paradise snow. They were yummy!

I dont have alot left to say...dinner tonight is a Taco Bar since I'm going to Bunco. I hope you all are having a great week....

Sounds like you're having a great summer Jen :)

Hope you have fun this weekend. When we were in Texas on vacation we went to Six Flags and I honestly didn't know if Nicholas would enjoy it at all, I was thinking he would be too scared of the rides, but boy did he shock me LOL He went on everything and loved it.....

I think Miller will have a blast :)

Hugs,
Sandra

One of my friends has a Bunco group in their neighborhood and I hear they have A LOT of fun! :)

Hope Miller adjusts to swimming lessons - that is so hard when they are just getting started. I highly recommend getting away to a hotel with a pool and staying there periodically. We went to Omaha over the winter for a weekend, and my youngest became a fish. :)

Have a great week!

Poor fella. I hope he gets over his fear. Little Package loves the water & it scares me because of the pond in the back. It want be long & she will need some swimming lessons.

Don't you just love summer? So glad you are having a good one. I taught all three of my girls to swim when they were about four. But started putting them in the water with me when they were less than a year. Love the water!!! A pool at home sounds wonderful!
