For Today...April 27th

Outside my window....the sun is coming up....and its warm. I can see people leaving for work and school. My veggie and herb gardens were completed this weekend and they look great.

I am thinking....that it is a new week. And I have several things to get done.

From the learning rooms..we have been talking about different veggies in our garden and their colors.

I am thankful for....friends.

From the kitchen... Spaghetti Pie, Tuna casserole, Caramel coffee, Chicken Casserole, and some kind of cookies.

I am wearing...blue pajamas

I am reading... Esther. And it is great!

I am hoping...for a quiet week.

I am creating...a happy home.

I am hearing...the birds chirping.

I'am thankful for...laughter.

I'am going....to take Miller to school.....and to run some errands.

Around the house... watering the veggie garden, laundry, dusting the whole house, mopping the hardwood floors, and vacuuming.

One of my favorite things... coffee on the front porch.

A few plans for the rest of the week...gymnastics, cheer meeting, nail appointment, lunch with a friend, bible study, and the grocery.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you..our vegetables from last summer....looking forward to a bigger garden this year adding some new things...

You got me at caramel coffee - do share!

Oh, those veggies make my mouth water. Especially after my dh attended a nutrition seminar last weekend and we learned (again!) how little nutrients are left in the massive shipments that come from these fast growing farms. (sigh)...but, that's another post on my list of things to do. :)

Have a good day - i can smell the herbs up here!

I envy your warm weather! We woke up to 4" of snow. It is melting slowly, but the day is cold and dreary. The kids don't have school today or tomorrow. Ugh. I need some of your sunshine!
