Mother's Day Weekend

Well...it's Mothers Day weekend. It's a beautiful day here. Scott is golfing this morning and I have 2 sick kids. Yep. Miller has croup AGAIN. And Madison just has a cold. My allergies are crazy today too. We had a crazy week with Teacher App and Madison gone and my parents being gone again. But we survived. Scott is grilling steaks tonight for me. And they are taking me to lunch after church tomorrow. So not that bad...huh?
We have some errands to run this morning and I may lay out in the sun while Miller naps.
Tomorrow I'm going to rest and lounge around.
Next week will be wild again. But that is okay.
I hope you all have a great week....Happy Mother's Day friends....and those of you who are not a mother....Happy Friend Day.....

Jen, I can certainly understand you being proud of them! That is awesome. What a great opportunity for them, and I bet they will continue getting better and better. Didn't you say that is what she wants to do?

Happy Mother's Day to you!

Happy Mother's Day, Jen!

I posted a photo at the back porch and on my photo blog, of a gate at the Conservatory in St Charles. It's south on Main Street from the Little Hills Winery. I e-mailed you about it, but the message bounced back. It's a beautiful place and who knows, you might see a wedding.

Oh gosh, don't get me started on CROUP. Been there, done that! I think back when Mark was a baby on Mother's Day. He was sick and my dad was having major surgery.

Here's to better Mother's Day ahead....

I hope you had a fabulous Mother's Day! I did. I got just what I asked for, and my family took me to eat at my favorite restaurant even though it is over an hour away!
