Let's talk

Come sit with me. We have been so busy since we last talked. Grab some ice tea...let's chat. Sunday we went to church and Scott golfed in the afternoon. Madison sang that night ...it was their end of year choir performance. She did a great job and had a speaking part...she is great at speaking parts. Scott is off some this week. So we have been busy getting the yard together. Buying new pots and flowers. It's slowly coming together. Madison is involved with something big at school and I will tell you more about it later in the week. I'm so proud of her. It's Teacher Appreciation week so I have been busy making sure her teacher gets something every day. This will be the busiest week for us this month. Today we are still working in the yard. I may lay out if Miller would ever take his nap. We are looking at play sets for Miller for the back yard. They are so expensive but we really want him to have one. Tomorrow I'm having lunch with two great friends. And getting pedicures done. I'm looking forward to a foot rub. Scott goes back to work on Thursday. I have to finish with Mothers Day gifts this week along with working at school during lunch on Friday. It will be crazy this week...but it's all good. Dinner tonight is Chicken Cacciatore in the Crock Pot...over white rice and a Mandarin Orange Salad....yum yum.
This weekend I will be able to relax. No plans. It's Mothers Day so I plan on resting and hanging out with the kids. No plans I tell ya.
I hope you all are having a great week...

Well sounds like you've been busy. I can't wait to hear about Madison's big thing at school, I'm so nosy and it's killing me not knowing LOL

Chicken Cacciatore YUM is all I have to say.

Have a wonderful day with your friends and enjoy the foot rub.

Hugs,
Sandra

I think Mother's Day weekend is the one weekend of the year all us moms really should be able to relax and do nothing. So I'm killing myself all week cleaning my house so I can drop dead and do nothing all weekend long. LOL

Hope you get to relax too.

Your dinner sounds so good. I was in a hurry and made the chicken recipe on the back of the rice box! It was so-so. My favorite Mother's Days are the ones when we didn't have to do a thing. I don't think that will be possible this year. My FIL has been having health issues, so we're going to spoil my MIL on Sunday. That's a good thing, too. Can't wait to hear about Madison's news:)
I LOVE Chicken Cacciatore! It's one of my favorite meals. It sounds especially good with a Mandarin Orange salad!

Sounds like a really wonderful, busy week ahead of you. But, if I know you at all, it will be amazing! I hope you get some laying out time in - sounds like you'll need those little pockets of quiet time.

Hope today is great!!

Y'all do sound busy in your yard! I need to be working in the beds and getting some stuff out but I SO don't like yardwork.
I am having some company this weekend though and looking forward to that...gotta get busy cleaning!
Goodness, you have so much going on, Jen! I hope it is turning out to be a great week :) We need to get flowers and plant, I'm really late this year planting summer flowers.

Have a wonderful Mother's Day!!!
