Grab a tea and lets chat

Hey everyone. It's Tuesday. I have been busy this morning. Miller and I have been finger painting and working on his ABC's. He loves the letter B. I have been doing laundry in my new washer and dryer. Busy Busy....making phone calls making appointments and just living life. I'm making sloppy joe's for lunch for us and will be preparing Baked Ziti with a salad for dinner.

Madison is off next week for Spring Break we have such a great week planned. Scott took off 2 of those days also. We plan on playing some golf at the club..(her and her daddy) and having our toes and fingernails done at the salon with me of course. I have some great meals planned for this week too.....we are going to do a picnic one day at the park. We don't really go anywhere for Spring Break as the weather is still cool in most places....we can do cool here. So we try to make the best of her week for her. It's quiet around here this week. Which I LOVE quiet.

I hope you all are having a great week. What are you doing for Spring Break?

Sounds wonderful Jen! You do such a good job of making life special for your kids. Have fun getting pampered at the salon!

I've enjoyed your posts of yesterday and today. You always seem to be enjoying life and making things so nice for your family:) Baked ziti sounds wonderful. I haven't made that in a long time -- thanks for the menu idea!
Another great newsy post, I just love your "update", "here's what we're doing" posts, Jen! :)

Finger painting sounds fun! And sloppy joes and baked ziti sounds awesome, lots of cooking for one day. We tend to do sandwiches or leftovers or something quick for lunch around here.

Your spring break plans sound great. We don't "do" spring break around here. The kids had out for spring break 2 or 3 weeks ago here, it's always in early or mid-March here. My husband was gone all week on business and my adult niece came to visit some.

Hope you have a great day and week :)

Sounds great Jen...we don't do anything for spring break, Jasmine already had hers and is back at school already.

My kid likes the letter D. I wonder why they gravitate toward one letter. I don't think I have ever thought of the letter I like best. Kids notice things a lot more today though.

Sounds like you are going to have a nice, relaxing spring break. Golfing and the salon, sounds good to me.

Have a great day.

Have a great Spring Break.

We just stayed home.
We've always gone skiing for spring break! Alas, this is the first year in many years that we haven't. (:
My kids had spring break a week or so ago and we didn't really do much b/c they were off at different times. And I just got home so I need to spend a few days unpacking & washing clothes!

We already had spring break, & I hated to see my son have to go back to school. We stayed busy around here, he with his friends a lot. Hope you enjoy yours!

I found you thru Lori's blog. I scrolled down to this ice tea and it just made me so thirsty for a good glass of ice tea with lemon. I just had to say hi and you have a delightful blog.
