Rainbows & Sunshine

Well, I'm sitting on the couch with coffee this morning. Watching Miller play in the floor. Madison is still asleep. Scott is on Jury duty.
I have been gone for awhile.....this is what's going on.

1. We sold the house. This has completely worn me out. I'm excited....yet scared out of my mind. I'm selling the home that Madison has grown up in...the home Miller came home from the hospital to. The home that Scott and I have put blood, sweat and tears along with alot of love in. What were we thinking?

2. We have no other houses that we are thrilled about. But we are going to look at 2 homes today. The home we liked sold....so back to the old drawing board.

3. Madison is home on Spring Break. I'm trying to make life as easy as possible with the funeral and all.

4. My grandmother passed away on Saturday night. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Easter....how wonderful is that? It was sad.....but I'm glad she passed the way she did. My dad is sad. That is what is the hardest. You never want to see your parents or children sad. We buried her yesterday.

5. My sister is home from Peru for everything. I know it is so hard for her to be away for so long and come home for such bad news.

So.....I thank God for my blessings this morning. I thank him for everything he has given us. I thank him for my blogging friends. I'm taking some time off with all the stress going on. I'm having some anxiety problems. I hope you all have a great week. You all are my Rainbows and Sunshine each morning. I'll talk to you again soon. PROMISE!

Oh Jen I am so sorry to hear about your Gram but man what a day to leave this old world on!! Do you realize that while we were down here doing our best to celebrate Easter...well your Gram got to celebrate with JESUS!! Good NIght that makes me want to jump! What a day!

About your home...I can see your sadness. Make a list...write the positives & the negatives down. Yall decided to sell that house for a reason..many I am sure. Your children will have better memories in the new house to come because it will be a better house & it will be the one they are old enough to really remember!!
I have thought of you often. What can I do for you Jen? Here are 2 of my favorite scriptures...Jeremiah 29:11 & 33:3. Study on them two verses & claim them sister!
Love & prayers to you!

Sorry to hear about your grandmother.
It is so hard to lose someone, but thankfully she is with the Lord.

Glad to hear your house sold, but I know you must be anxious. I hope you quickly find a new house that you can make many more new memories in.

Jen, I am sorry about your grandmother, but how beautiful to go to heaven on Easter! I'm thrilled that your house sold so you don't have to keep it perfect 24/7. Hang in there, girl.

I nominated you for an award. Head over here to check it out.

So, so sorry about your grandmother, Jen. I know it's a comfort that she went peacefully and yes, it's very special that it happened on Easter.

Congratulations about selling the house. I know the whole process is stressful but once this is all over and you're all happily settled into a new home with the whole summer in front of you, I imagine some of your anxiety issues will go away.

Hang in there. We'll all be right here when you need someone to talk to.
Oh, I am rejoicing that you sold the house and am sorry about your loss of your grandma. Hope there were lots of rainbows and sunshine for you this week...
