The week in review
FOR TODAY
Outside my Window...it's a bright sunny day. A little humid.
I am thinking...how much I'm going to miss Madison this week. She is off to camp. I know how much fun she will have though. I remember how much I loved camp.
I am thankful for...Scott. He is such a great dad and husband. Hard working and loves us so much.
From the kitchen...Chocolate Cake from Father's Day.
I am creating...a new wreath for my front door. With the new paint job on the door we needed a new wreath with color.
I am going...no where today. Just to drop Madison off. Mom is coming over to hang out and watch an old classic movie...Anastasia with me.
I'am wearing.... blue jean capris and white Old Navy tank and yes I'm barefoot.

I am reading...cook books from the library this week....finding new recipes.
I am hoping...my colonoscopy goes well tomorrow...keep me in your prayers.
Around the house...well the house is clean...2 loads of laundry to do. Madison's room will be empty yet sad.....we have some weeding in the garden to do.
One of my favorite things...laying in the sun with a new People magazine.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...my colonoscopy, a movie with Miller and a picnic at the park, a trip to some furniture stores for a new couch, a nail appointment and a run to the local Farmers Market.
My picture thought of the week... how refreshing this is.....yummy!
For more wonderful day books....please go check out Peggy @ The Simple Woman......she is great. Join me...I love doing this and reading about everyone's every day life.

I enjoyed reading your daybook entry. Your lemonade looks yummy. I've recently started to make mine from scratch too. The glass container is so pretty.
I'll pray that all goes well with your colonoscopy.

Blessings to you. Hope you'll be ok tomorrow.
I put up my Daybook, too. Thanks for getting me into this. It's lotsa fun:)
I pray your colonoscopy goes well too.
I am so happy for you that you have your Mother to spend time with.
Camp is such a great experience for children. I remember when I took my daughter there and left her. Giving them wings is sometimes hard on us Moms.

Thanks so much for the recipes. The oreo cookie one is one of the first I am going to try. Of course I would make a dessert first.
I hope Madison has a great time but I know how much you will miss her. She will be home, with awesome camp stories before you know it.
Hope the colonoscopy goes well. I will be thinking of you and praying for you. I haven't had to have one yet, but I am sure the day is coming. My surgeon said my colon is covered with the endo that is eating me up inside. Blech. I've heard that actually drinking all of the liquid is the worst, so hang in there.
Eat some chocolate cake for me, and share some good recipes if you find them and try them!
Have a glorious week!
Curling up to watch an old movie sounds wonderful. I think I'll probably end up doing the same thing!

Glory girl! You WILL have my prayers for tomorrow. I hope it all goes quickly and smoothly.
We need to be neighbors... our boys would have so much fun together!

Keep us posted, Jen.
What am I missing?
