She is home

My girl is back in one piece. She has been asleep since 5pm though. I'm ready for her to wake up so we can talk about camp. I guess I will wait. I have done all her laundry and completely un packed her. Just waiting. The house is so quiet this morning. Scott just left for work. We may just rest and hang out today. Or we may go to the pool. Who knows. I do know this weekend is going to be slow. Tonight we take Scott's mom out for her birthday and we may just hang out downtown for live concerts and bands. Tomorrow is church and the pool and a little golf. Just hanging out as a family.
My kind of weekend. Dinner Sunday will be Ham Hash brown Casserole with fruit. We love this recipe. I have been going through my cook books from the library.
Next week will be busy and fun. I'll let you know more about it Monday. For now though I hope you all are having a great weekend.

Glad your girl got home safely. I love to go downtown. I just can't do the walking anymore due to my bad back. But the atmosphere is great! Have yall ever taken a ride in the horse drawn carriage?
I remember the day after camp... I would sleep like nobody's business too! I am excited to hear about how it all went!

It was funny because the post that you had talked about getting cookbooks from the library - I had done the same thing that day too. I got three out - my favorite being "Baking with Julia (Childs)." I love borrowing cookbooks from the library!

Have a wonderful weekend, and enjoy your family time.

I'm glad Madison is back home safe and sound. I'll bet she has a lot to tell you about camp.

Thanks for the prayers for my mom. Her death was unexpected. She developed an infection all of a sudden and with no immunity she couldn't fight it. I am not able to go home for the service since I have my daughter leaving for East Timor on a mission, my hubby going away to school in AZ for training for deployment in Dec. and my one son in intensive summer school and school will re-start in July. My dad only wants a memorial service because that is what my mom wanted and he wants to visit us here so he can get away from his house for awhile so I think this way is best. Anyway thanks for asking.

Yay for camp! I'm glad she's home and had a good time, nothing like those camp memories.

Could you post the ham hashbrown casserole recipe? It sounds like something we would eat over here!
