It's not one its two.....

Yes......it's official...we have an ear infection...not just an ear infection...a double ear infection.....and yes he talked tubes. I sat and cried. We are not going to see a specialitst just yet....the doctor said we would wait and see if he gets 2 more before he is 15 months old....HELLO.....we are going into the winter months!!!!!! It's going to happen. I'm okay....I choose not talk about it. He has a runny nose too. Madison had all of 3 ear infections her whole life. SO this is so new with Miller sick all the time.
He is sleeping right now and this is good he needs his rest.
One good thing is....drum roll please.......he has slept all night for 3 nights......yes break out the balloons...lets have a party...I have had 3 nights of undisturbed sleep......I hear the angels singing....

My MOPS meeting went really well. I love these women...did you hear me? I love them. They are so great, understanding....the meeting was a little long....did I mention 8 hours..but I wouldn't want to be with any other people but them besides my family.....this Mops thing is going to be great.....

I don't have a Menu Plan this week....Scott's birthday is this week....so we are going out 2 nights for dinner and then Church one night...so I will fudge around the rest of the week...but please go visit my dear friend Laura and check out her menu...and her 30 day Challenge....

I hope you all are well today......Chrissa I hope you don't have strep......
Happy Monday my friends.....

congratulations on the 3 nights sleep! I bet it feels so good!

I'm so sorry to hear about Miller! Travis had ear infections a lot when he was that age, then those quit and he got tonsilitis all the time and ended up getting his tonsils out when he was 2. It was harder on me I think than it was on him! I do hope Miller gets better very soon!!

Oh no! Not double!! My middle sister had tubes in and out of her ears three different time (I bet that made you feel much better, sorry). I really hope that Miller gets better soon and continues to sleep A LOT!! 3 nights in a row is phenomenal! Write that one down in the baby book.

*HUGS*

That poor little guy. He must miserable. Ear infections are so painful. I hope he doesn't have to have the tubes, though.

Good for you, getting some uninterrupted sleep. You'll have plenty of energy to enjoy your hubby's birthday!

WOW! Poor baby got a double whammy!! It's so tough on them - I will be praying for NO MORE EAR INFECTIONS!!!! I know what you mean - Kelsey was my uneventful, healthy child - Matt - if it's possible to get it, he's had it AND had it bad!!!

Glad to hear your MOPS meeting went well!! :)

I'm so sorry to hear Miller is sick. I know so many people who have little ones with persistant ear infections. My daughter Vanessa, who is now 16, has had them all her life and still gets at least 2 a year. I'm not sure when she will grow out of this.

Sounds like your MOPS group is going great. I'm glad to hear it. This is a great way to meet some awesome ladies.

I am visiting you after reading Christina's blog. She is right - this is a very inviting place. I'm sorry to hear your little one is sick. I know how precious a full night's sleep is - glad you were able to get three!
Your mops group sounds wonderful. I'm a grandmother now, but I know how much a group like that would have ministered to me when I had little ones.
Blessings!

Ahhh, I had typed this whole thing out about tubes and then it wouldn't let me sign in. Anyway, Erin had tubes at 11 months. She kept getting infections and started to become antibiotic resistant, which scared us. Her ped. sort of dragged his heels about tubes, but once we had them in, they dramatically reduced our ear infections. The surgery was not bad at all, she was in and out in about 20 minutes. McCracken did her tubes, and it all went well. She had to have one put back in at 2 years old, but she was having an unrelated surgery on her ears, and while they were in there they just stuck it back in. She had so many issues with her ear that the tubes didn't really register with me though. I don't want to sound blase about it, just had other things to deal with, ya know. Anyway, yeah on the three nights of sleep. That's such a great feeling, I've heard :)

We have ear infections here too. Not fun, but they are on the mend.
