Snow Day

The snow finally started at around 2pm yesterday.

It kept coming down all night. It was so pretty to watch. We had Hot chocolate and watched movies.
This is our biggest snow fall yet. We haven't measured it just yet. But it is exciting.
And so beautiful to look at.

This is this morning's sunrise.....so calm and beautiful......the calm after the storm.



We will be playing in the snow today.....eating warm soup and drinking lots of Hot Chocolate and cider. We don't get this kind of weather often so today is Our Snow Day....

Isn't it beautiful? My yard looks like that this morning also. It started snowing here about 5:30 last night. We have about 7-8 inches with drifts on the roads in places. I live near Interstate 24 and the traffic is still moving slow at times. I hear that the exit ramps were very slick this morning with several wrecks. I'm staying inside today with my mug of coffee and scrapbooking!

That looks like a good 3 to 5 inches to me, Jen. I'll bet the kids are beyond excited. Around here, no matter how much snow we get, a new snowfall is always exciting.

Its been a while. :)

I wish it would snow here! At last I think all signs of winter are officially over and its hot weather from now on til November. :)
