Monday Talk

Good Monday Morning. How are you this morning? We are all good. It has started to rain outside...and in for alot of it today.....they are even saying maybe turning over to snow tonight....I'm about to snap over the snow/sleet/ice/no school day.....

I love the photo above....if you know me.....I love old homes in the south plantations esp....and all the history that comes with it. I have gone on some tours in Mississippi and Louisiana....and they are just beautiful homes...the best time to go is in the spring or fall when everything is blooming....if you have never done this and can....I say do it.

So I'm Meal Planning today. Getting ready for the grocery this week. I'm also looking for a Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookie recipe.

We had a great weekend. Madison had her birthday on Saturday and it went well. She got everything she wanted. We had a nice day. The weekend was awesome here...sunny and 65-70. Just great weather and Scott was home so it made it even better. We grilled one night and had the family over for a big Italian dinner one night...so all in all it was great.

Friday I had a day to myself. My parents watched Miller and I went shopping...all day long. Had lunch with a friend and just enjoyed the beautiful day. It was great.

Today I plan on cleaning and finishing my grocery list. I have laundry to do. I so hope you have a great week. And say some prayers for Barb and Krissy @ A Chelsea Morning...Krissy is supposed to be having her baby today....

Hugs to you all.....

Good to know that I am not the only one planning my grocery list for the week. I love the pic of the old house and carriage. Where is it?

I love houses like that, too. That porch needs me on it with a tall glass of iced tea. :0) It sounds like you had a great weekend, we did too, but it went by too fast! LOL March is coming in like a lion at our house. Cold, rainy and maybe even SNOW tonight!
Hugs,
Kelli

Great photo. I went through Charleston once at night and in the day and I loved the houses. I thought this was the prettiest city at night too, but the homes on the outside were so beautiful. I love the porches have.

Lucky you getting to go shopping and to have lunch on a day all to yourself. I think mom's need this kind of break. It makes us better mom's to have a little time to ourselves.

Glad to hear Madison got all the things she wanted and Happy Birthday to her.

I came here yesterday morning forgot to leave a comment. I went to Chelsea Mornings blog yesterday for the 1st time & was so moved by her post. Thanks for sharing her on your blog.

I love peanutbutter & chocolate anyway you fix it! I crave peanutbutter & have a sandwich almost every day! I know the cookies will be good!

When you come to help us with the clean up....PLEASE bring MIller!!! Danny will love having a little helper & I'm sure he can find a tractor around here that will be just the right size for him!! LOL Oh but he must wear overalls!!!
So glad that Madison had a good birthday and you guys had a great weekend. The weather was sunny and warm here, but boy, it's chilly now!

I didn't post a menu this week. We're just doing easy stuff like po-boys, soup and tacos. No brainer :) I am only going to the grocery to pick up a few things like eggs, milk, OJ and fruit.

Hope you guys are having a good day and a good week, Jen! Take care :)
I'm glad the weekend was fun and that Madison had a fun birthday! It was nice here too, although it rained yesterday and now it's cold.
I still haven't done a menu because I'm still trying to clean and cook out of my freezer!
Wow! A whole day of shopping with a friend?! I am really happy for you - sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. Hope this week is great for you!
