Monday Chit Chat

This was our table on Easter at mom's. It was really nice.
We had a nice weekend. I started switching closets over. Still doing this. We went to a 40th Surprise Party on Friday night and had a great time. Saturday Scott golfed while I started on closets. Saturday night we went to a local Charity League program....supporting some friends of ours in the program. Sunday was church. Madison sang last night too.
I got a new washer and dryer...mine died last week. I wanted to thank you all for your comments on my Kitchen cabinets. I have phone call into a painter and interior decorator. Hopefully I will get some in sight this week. I did choose my counter top though...it is so pretty.
We had rain last night. The sun is poking it's way through the clouds right now. I'm getting my menu plan together...Madison will be on Spring Break in a week and I need some new breakfast and lunch ideas.....if you have any let me know. Madison and I have a day at the Spa and Salon planned...during her time off from school.....we are both looking forward to this. Scott's parents came home this past weekend. We saw them yesterday.
Tonight we have Volleyball practice. I'm Making a Creamy Chicken and Spinach dish for dinner. It is so so good. I'm going to make phone calls today and strip sheets and do some laundry. Nothing too bad today. Just rest. The body needs rest once in awhile.
For now though I hope you all have a great day. Talk to you soon.

Glad you got a new washer/dryer! That's just something you can't do without. It's been raining here too and I hope I don't have to drive through it to go home.

Glad to hear you are going to have a painter and decorator take a look at your kitchen. I'm sure they'll have some ideas for you.

A new washer and dryer *sigh* I fear mine are starting to go, too. My dryer is taking a long time to dry the clothes and my washer doesn't leave the clothes smelling fresh any more....I'm just waiting....

*LOL*

Wow a new w/d. I hope readers told you to paint your cabinets white? I didn't read the post below. Since you have a white stove ... how fun! It will be like a new kitchen! :)

Jen, glad you got a new washer & dryer. Makes laundry a lot more pleasant.

Madison sang at church? How'd it go? Mark has started singing at church & will be on the Praise & Worship team. He is not a performer by choice, but has a beautiful voice & felt God leading him to start singing in church.
